As great as Pirlo is, what teams out there have the midfield to support him properly? Or even the sort of tactics that suit him. He'll probably renew with us. And if he cared about the PL so much he'd have easily made a move there a long time ago.

If Pirlo doesn't re sign then i have a suspicion that it will be more about Juventus not wanting him then the player himself not wanting to continue. In the recent past the club has seemed unwilling to keep on to aging players even if they still have something to give.

If he does receive a new contract offer i imagine it will be for substantially less compensation and Pirlo might not accept such a reduced role.
