really guys? Pirlo was one of the best players for us, in the first half alone he stopped counter attacks led by Riera 2 or 3 times, his passing for the most part was accurate, his cross to Quag for the goal was perfect. It isn't Pirlo's fault if the defenders decide to just boot it up and hope for the best.

I don't know why Conte just don't switch him with Pogba/Vidal for 5 mins here and there. He's always good for a tricky move/cross in an advanced position.

Anyway, with toothless WB's and no pacy striker to make off-the-shoulder runs (eg. Rossi), we just don't make full use of his skills.

A speedy striker or winger would have made Pirlo a lot better than he looks now. yesterday, he was hitting long balls to Vucinic (& a perfect through ball which should have been a goal instead of an injury), even a Pepe would have sufficed (but definitely not Giovinco, that guy is cack).

I laughed when Chiellini stumbled on a ball on even ground. A professional footballer should not stumble on a ball.
