Just so everyone is clear:
Pirlo might have 99% passing accuracy every game, but if none of those passes actually result in a "scoring opportunity" or "creating problems" for opposition defense then quite frankly he just didn't put in a meaningful performance.
Stats are just used to misguide opinions. And this goes for all midfielders all over the world.
Further more, if Juventus is winning 1,000 - 0...and all goals were assisted by Pirlo then only 1 goal is considered important because it was the winning goal.
