In terms of his penalty, when you get languid players who like to try things taking them you end up with random results. For penalties just just need a machine who will stick it out of the reach of the keeper over and over, nothing fancy.

I honestly cannot think of a player we have who would do that. Even with Vidal you think he would try something. Bendtner maybe?

Giovinco is good at taking penalties, he had a decent record at Parma.

Vidal is as close as we are going to get, he puts them high into the corners with power, that's a high percentage shot for a penalty.

Giovinco is a complete set piece specialist. That's what he perfects the most.

It seems that he has lost his touch, as he apparently he is not given the same chances to execute penalties as often as he was at Milan, where Berlu refs offered him a penalty suspiciously too often...
