I don't think Pirlo insists on diagonal balls towards our center backs. Do you?

Actually, it wasn't even close to being towards them, but I'll phrase it like that for his probable intention.

I do see little off the ball movements. Sure. And that has been going on for 3 years now.

No, I did not think it was ok.
Last year we didn't have nearly as many giveaways in bad situations. The year before that it wasn't such a problem as well. It's the coach putting players in position to fail, it's not an individual mistake if it keeps happening again and again and again.

You are still going with that shit
Yeah and I see many well respected pundits and old players saying the same. But I guess you hold the one and only truth.

Again; Pirlo is to blame but stop the bullshit about the quality in this team. Last season and the year before that we had Dybala, Pjanic & Cancelo as extra outlets and with Mandzu or Higuain a receiver for long balls.

Now we have Bonucci and Arthur as the ONLY ball players. None of them were there today while two of them have been missing somewhat the whole season.

And Allegri would definitely do more with this team. Definitely. But we're so eager to switch our style to some tiki-taka. We qhouldn't even begin to try it with this team but that's what we're doing and if we go through with this, there will be many more problems in seasons to come.

Disgraceful showing. Absolutely horiffic. The way we play tends to kill any desire to watch football. When we attack, its like watching slow motion. The worst Juve since Delneri/Ferrara days, not quality wise, but our playing style.

With his performance I may agree to give him a chance with U23, after his last three-four conference, I believe he needs to go and never come back: Vincere non è importante è l'unica cosa che conta

The team moved up and down as a unit last year. It's a basic principle of coaching. Even Sarri would at least give you that basic organization. With Pirlo, it's just Sunday league. Players are miles apart from each other and no one knows where the pass options are.

Pirlo: 'Juventus too predictable'

Football Italia

Andrea Pirlo admits Juventus ‘are making too many horizontal passes and that makes us predictable’ after a 2-2 draw with Torino in the Derby della Mole.

The Bianconeri fought back for a 2-2 draw, but considering their recent poor form, a point against a team in the relegation battle is hardly something to celebrate.

Just like the 1-0 home defeat to Benevento, Juve shot themselves in the foot by giving away a goal with an awful back-pass, this time Dejan Kulusevski.

“We had started well, taken the lead, and that’s the most difficult thing against teams that defend,” Pirlo told DAZN.

“As usual, we make life complicated for ourselves. We had hoped for a different second half, but we made that error straight away and had to get back into it.

“The error was similar to the one we conceded against Lazio, unfortunately these are happening a bit too often and we have these lapses in concentration.

“We must learn that we cannot lose concentration for even a second, because the moment we lose the ball, it’s only right that we are then punished.

“When you play against teams that defend deep, it’s difficult to attack the space, so you have to go round the flanks and try to create some width. We do try these tactics, especially against sides who have five at the back.

“It’s important to get crosses in and above all put bodies into the box. After the second goal, we got the game back on track, hitting the woodwork and that chance with Cristiano. It’s only natural that against teams who pack their final third, we can’t move the ball quickly, as there aren’t any spaces.

“Mistakes happen, whether you are a player, a coach or a referee. We have to stay fully focused, stay on our toes and understand the moment we are going through. Some sharpness can be lacking after international duty, but we cannot afford to let go even for a moment now.”

Juve are now in fourth place, level with Napoli, and they go head-to-head with Gennaro Gattuso’s side in Wednesday’s rescheduled fixture.

“When you don’t win, you cannot be satisfied. We know that we have to improve, we’re trying to win games, as that helps everyone relax.

“We’re dropping a lot of points along the way so far this season and naturally we’ve got to do better.”

Pirlo was asked what he will focus on now that Juventus have a full week to prepare for games?

“We have to work on many football principles, such as positions and movements, finding more movement between the lines, especially against teams that defend deep.

“At the moment, we are making too many horizontal passes and that makes us predictable.”

My favorite quote.
We have to improve since September last year ,not in april.
We at least need to show signs of improvement, first.
Who knows maybe in may after we miss top 4 and play other teams that don't give a sh*t .
