Covid didn't just hit Juve's finances. He should have taken the hit, downsized like others have, and we'd have been better placed than most to make a come back.

Now a lot of strange decisions make more sense. Like selling Ronaldo with no replacement planned and cashing in on De Ligt and others. Not sacking Allegri and the whole "joke" about who will pay the next manager's salary. Fucker should have just said the financial situation is dire and we need to downsize to save the club. All media are saying "alleged" because the investigation is not concluded yet. Nothing unusual, reporting on alleged criminal activities actually being investigated formally is not libel in any way.

Our club is owned by arguably Italy's biggest industrial family in the Agnelli and Elkann and whatever family ties there are. They own Italy. Of course we'll always be tied to scandals. That in itself is not a problem.

I hope you're right. But the timing, and the statement by the club and the fact that this is an entire board resigning with 11 or so directors under criminal investigation all point towards it being more than a normal resignation for an under-performing CEO.
