You could be the EPL, who is currently bellyaching over all the big-money signings for Barca and Real Madrid and questioning whether they're still the best league in the world (as if they ever were other than in their minds and marketing).

And their NT sucks worse than anyone else's for it...

I said meanwhile replying on the post when a member says SLOWLY we are becoming a powerhouse (but without big signings every year).I was meaning from now on we will become like Arsenal ,good books and no trophies.
And please wait with your statement that we are not a selling club.I will do everything to be wrong, but please do not predict something that you and nobody else are sure.We are in the middle of a transfer window.Somebody can come with an offer at the last day(remember when we bought Ibrahimovic?)You are looking at crystal ball to claim that Arturo and Paul will stay?Or you had a secret informer who assures you that this kind of transfer would not happen.I am not saying that they will happen, actually I am afraid of that fact that might occur, but also please don't be so sure that they will stay ,especially Arturo.
Who we bought?Morata for 20 mil.,Pereyra and grandpa Evra. That's the signings for a club that pretend to fight a CL trophy?I doubt. Especially with an idiot coach like Allegri.
Don't know where to start, honestly. I'll start with whatever comes to my mind. Let's assume we sell Vidal or Pogba (possible things, I don't deny it at all. Vidal there's like a 30% possibility to sell him this summer, Pogba close to 0, but whatever) for a very big fee. That would make us a selling club? Was United a selling club in 2009 when they sold Ronaldo? Or when Inter sold Ibra? Or when we sold Zidane in the past? Selling one player for a big fee is normal, is the trending that tells if you are a selling club... And we're everything but a selling club, I assure you. The reputation that Arsenal had over the years, is that whenever one of their youngsters blossomed, they sold him right away. Then you can talk about transfers, fees, whatever. Look at our line-up and you can understand that no team in the world would have an easy match with us, and yes, even in the Champions League you could see it. Our display in Champions League, from a statistical point of view, was impressive. We lacked other things, including the last match. Madrid had to sweat their lives against us, and still drew in Turin where we fully deserved to win, and won with referee help in Madrid, sweating even there. In an article I've read of a Madrid supporter that said "I swear that in this season, the most difficult matches were the 2 against Juve". Look at our ranking in Europe in last 2 seasons, look it. That means Pot 1. And talking about the Allegri choice, an obligated choice, is not enough to discredit our club. I think that's all, more or less, I don't even want to go further... And I'm mad at you for making me go this long. ;)

I don't know how to explain to be clear.I never said that we are a selling club. That were your words.Second I ONLY compared us to Arsenal in their strategy to only make profit and do not care about titles. My post was referring from now on,so don't mention that three titles.I am ultra happy with them.
Yes it is so normal to sell players.Yes we sold Zidane and we bought straight Gigi,Nedved,Thuram etc.
It's not just sell the player for big money. You have to use them wisely .You don't have a proper replacement every moment at the market.Okay let's get 50 mil for Arturo.Who you gonna buy?Especially at the last days of the transfer window.I don't think that Totenham(I don't compare them to us) had some benefit of getting 100 mil for Bale.
I agree that Allegri appointing was a forced decision but that does not mean that he is good.He is ultra bad, brainless prick who used to be someone's poodle .
I want to be wrong with him and I will publicly declare that on this forum but I am sure that he will suck. You mention the games in CL last season against Madrid.I agree completely. We don't deserve to lose there. We were robbed by that German judge. But what about Copenhagen and Gala home games.Gala makes two shots and scores twice. We don't defeat Copenhagen away. But that wasn't the aim of my post.We buy three moderate players(maybe exept Morata) and we expect to win something in CL,right?Okay let's wait and see.And these seasons we have Conte who is a better motivator than tactician and lets see what this poodle who was moaning for ,at least 6 months about Muntari goal will do.And your decision to"go so long" was up to you. Also I don't want usually to defend what I wrote ,so ...that's it.

According to some members here mgmt are pushing Vidal out of the club, they are desperate to sell and replace him with Candreva.

I don't think anyone has said that, people are more pissed due to the fact that we haven't made that big investment we expected.
Our biggest investment on a player during Marotta/Agnelli era were Asamoah and Isla 18m each.
Before the problem was "we ain't playing champiomns league champions won't join us" Now the excuse is... we making our bench deeper.

Every summer is a joke to us fans. First it was Aguero then Dzeko, Van Persie, Sanchez and to end it. Even a semi-good player like Iturbe snubbed us.

There is some big problem in this managment if they don't ever get a true international player. Look even Atletico Madrid keep getting world wide player while we're sticking to italian Serie A crappy players.

I highly doubt we were ever truly in for Aguero or RVP. Maybe made some initial contacts etc, but would have baulked straight away when looking at their cost.

Sanchez should and could have been achievable this summer. But then there goes the supposed squad depth we need, so it is a double edged sword (I think thats how that saying is meant to be used)
