New President Andrea Agnelli insists Gigi Del Neri “is the right Coach for us and can bring Juventus back to where they belong.”
The club has been revamped this week with Agnelli taking over and the introduction of director Beppe Marotta and former Sampdoria boss Del Neri.

“There is a lot of work to do, but we are ready and motivated. We welcome new director general Marotta, recognising his great ability to operate on the transfer market and create a virtuous financial circuit between the club and the team.

“Del Neri is the right Coach for us. He has a great career behind him and we are certain he can inherit the Bianconeri history and bring Juventus back to where they belong.”

The team will also undergo massive changes over the summer, but finances are tight after qualifying only for the Europa League preliminary round.

“The budget will be discussed in the board room with directors and shareholders, not in a Press conference,” noted Agnelli.

“I have always been a fan and, as every fan does, I dream of a wonderful Juve side.”
