He was fine in the couple matches he played. He still makes combinations and beats players in the "bad" matches he plays. You can tell there's something to work with
I loved how he had time to celebrate after he thought Milik’s header had gone in Was still quick and lucid enough in the final moments of the match to track the ball and secure a huge 3 points for us.
This moment will be a huge part of this fella’s career going forward. A goal a lot of us will always remember given the farce that proceeded it.
I'm not even sure he played as one. His positioning was bizarre. I'd have preferred him either to stay on the wing as a RWB with McKennie inside, or McKennie as RWB and Cambiaso in midfield. The interchanging between them didn't work.
