JuventusJeppe, excellent post, completely agreed, Robinho was far left at all times, and not only did Andre Santos stay bakc, but he was virtually a CM/DM, the players of those positions pushed up, and he went central every time to cover for them or give options centrally when Brazil had the ball, which was often.

yea man!!! juventus has always been a club with a history of strong defence plays! can't this gigli just get the fullbacks problem solved ASAP?! or is it too hard for him to perform so much signings?! bloody incompetent compared to inter (they bought milito and thiago motta in a blink of an eye!)

now that santos said he wanna join juventus, just get him first!!! after we got santos, we can go for grosso/dossena and rotate them! If we can't get grosso/dossena, then at elast we have a decent LB in santos!!

this transfer performance is total crap right now, with all the talks...nth has happened so far!...gigli, please work more and talk less! seriously, if ur dad is moggi, he will slaughter u for disgracing the family!

he might b a LB in brazil, but doesn't mean he'd b one in italy. dani alves is a very offensive RB. cicinho and mancini started as RBs. i guess cicinho still plays there (if u can say that) but mancini is now seen as a winger. marcelo is certainly not a LB anymore, no matter what real madrid thinks.

Only in Mineiro,in Venezia and later he was yet transformed into a versatile midfielder. Cicinho still plays a RB nad Marcelo still plays LB..... and I don't know what you think by that post.

Because I found rare pic:

Check out the tattoo.

How come you, biased fan, dont trust DC? He's our kid, give him a shot, IMO he has the potential to be better Grosso.

in an crazy attempt to explain the current situation regarding transfer dealings i think there is the chance that the board does think that there are no really good defenders available on the market, so they try to get players that do offer us more than just a defender we probably overpay for.

in fact a good player that does not exactly have to be defensive minded can help preventing conceding goals. hell, even a forward could do that (under certain circumstances).

if ferrara thinks there are no good defenders available that would fit in his system, then so be it. please stop always knowing better than the people actually in charge.

many of you welcomed ferrara as coach, so please respect his plans and don't always act like you would know better, because you don't.

i don't think ferrara is told by the board that he is not getting the players he wishes (defenders for example), because secco likes midfielders so much. that is ridiculous.

As I said earlier in the thread, this signing is pretty frigging simple, Andre Santos >>>> Our other dire options.
