and with his quality he could probably start for a few good teams.

Yeah, like the World Champions.

Indeed, we shouldn't sell Iaquinta as he is the perfect 3rd or 4th striker, and I've been saying that even when the turncoat mob wanted him gone some months ago.

oh for sure he will! c'mon iaquinta knows he's not the most technically gifted lad in the world and so he relishes the prospect of playing for juve cause even when he suffers from a spell of bad form, all he needs is to play two high profile matches with la vecchia signora and he's called back into the NT

now think of what players in mid level league teams need to do to recapture a spot on the NT

Iaquinta isn't a spotty 14 year old teenager...yes it's an honour to represent Juve, but it doen't mean you just watch the game from the bench every week...and Vinnie has easily shown that he can be a starter for Juve

not much, according to donadoni or lippi
when a major tournie is around the bends like a euro or wc then apply what i said not during measley qualifications when we're leading our group

simply stated its easier to get into the nt with a juve, milan or likewise big named team than it is with a napoli, palermo, sampdoria, etc...unless u're having an extended run of good form. If you shined for two matches after a lengthy poor form spell and got called to the NT u must player for one of the big teams

Can anyone guesstimate what they think our summer budget is so we can speculate as to how much will go around on new signings and how much will be generated from offloading players?

iaquinta a starter for an entire season? je suis doubts it
I like IQ and all but he has HEE HAW first touch. As long as he gets played the ball and can run onto it or service to his head thats about all he can be dangerous from. He can trap the ball, dribbles all over the place...but once he finally gets in position he is deadly...its just when he gets in position which sometimes struggles to because of his first touch.

i just doubt the ferrara is coming along...maybe i should have merged the canna and ferrara needs into a pietro verchowood need for a season...judging by the lack of funds allocated to a cb and our boards relativ ineptitude

I am just juggling the idea in my head of possible formations inclusive of cannavaro and diego...The trick will be how to include both diego and giovinco. Its a conundrum. Other than in an ultra attacking 4-1-3-2. which puts a lot of pressure on our left back position, as giovinco will be out wide on the left. Though, there is also a 4-2-3-1...

    buffon
X Cannavaro Chiellini De Ceglie(or criscito)
    Marchisio Momo
    Camo Diego Giovinco
Amauri (or Iaquinta or whoever replaces trezeguet, if he does leave...)

Is there a way of using both diego and giovinco without sticking giovinco out wide...

    Buffon
X Cannavarro Chiellini, De Ceglie( or criscito)
    Momo
    Camo Marchisio Diego
    Amauri Giovinco

The X is the only definite purchase I feel we must make, if we are to put ourselves into a position where we can send out a solid, quality first XI, if everyone is fit.

How else could Gio and Diego be incorporated***

your first formation includes 12 players....

well, I say let Giovinco slowly adopt to the DP role. He is not Nedveds replacement, as he is too weak in defense, and Diego is a better playmaker at the moment.

Maybe a 4-2-2-2 would be an option with Gio and Diego behind DP and Amauri.
