I'm calling it now, Jimmy G leads the Pats to 4-0...

Brady comes back, Pats go 0-4...

Belichik finally benches Brady, they win last 8 games of season under Jimmy G for first round bye, make SuperBowl, but Jimmy G is injured late in the AFC CG...

Brady returns but gets thoroughly abused by my Packers, in a crushing 38-3 defeat.

Brady placed on waivers by Pats. Gisele divorces him. He turns to alcoholism, ODs on mix of booze and prescription meds 1 year later.

Even in that scenario, who'd you rather be - Brady or Rodgers? Easy choice right there :D

All jokes and trolling aside, you gotta admit - that was one super impressive win by the Pats today, playing away at a legit SB contender w/o Brady, Gronk, Lewis, Ninkovich and both of their starting OTs, as well as their starting RG.

That's not coaching

that's football IQ

T-Williams is a Baylor product so you can take it fwiw

Fuck Baylor tho
:agree:

Garrett ain't much of a coach but that was just dumb football. Players should have some basic awareness of situational football.
This being said, I doubt Garrett is blameless in all of this too - good coaches focus on coaching such situations and I honestly doubt he's spent anywhere near enough time, if any at all, coaching up his players on the matter.

:agree:

By far the most impressive week one performance.

Most of the other SB contenders looked quite mediocre.

Denver has a shit offence, and the interior d-line is a shadow of last year.

Carolina and Cam still can't handle adversity and defences willing to smack'em in the mouth.

Arizona... Carson Palmer. 'nuff said.

Seattle. Lucky to escape with the win against A terrible Miami at home. Wilson has regressed a lot since that SB loss.

Green Bay... Rodgers still has no chemistry at all with his receivers, and that defense looks like it's going to get gashed by any team with a better QB than Bortles.

Bengals... Barely beat the Jets... Andy Dalton just doesn't do it for me, I don't see them beating anyone in the playoffs.

No one else that played today is a legit top team. That leaves the Steelers... If Le'veon Bell could avoid being an idiot, maybe they could make some noise this year.

But Pats certainly looked like the cream of the crop playing with a second string team today. Without the fumbles that game wouldn't have been close.
