Cowboys fans are all fickle glory hunters. What's more telling is that the majority of their fans are white trash and mexicans.

not watching it but it's kind of difficult to not know about it when shit like this is thrown in your face on a daily basis by the media

and don't try to change the subject - talk to me about those Eagles and the poffs :D

It's not exactly over yet. The Giants seem in pretty good shape but you never know. We're still second. Although the team has been shit.

And the thing is that so many people blame Vick when it's not his fault at all.

well, Andy Reid has to go, this much I think is clear as he's just lost any grip he may have had on this team/franchise. That doesn't absolve Vick, though, who is a pretty average QB once defenses get used to his tricks as he lacks discipline and is way too chaotic for that position - his mumbo jumbo may give you an exciting win here and there but in the long run he is a liability and doesn't have the work ethic, consistency, discipline, mentality and even the talent of a proper QB, around whom you should build the team for the future.
He is kind of like a slightly better version of Tebow - the eye-candy is there for some games but you'd be better off cutting him loose.

I for one really hate seeing matt Flynn wasting away first at GB and now at Seattle. Instead of spending all that money on someone like Vick, there was a guy you could have given a chance on the cheap, imo ... then again, there is always the draft, I guess.

anyways, of course it ain't over yet, statistically, but the Eagles look completely deflated and disorganized for this team to have a realistic shot at making the p-offs, tbh - just no real direction and on the brink of falling into complete chaos. The only way I can see them pick themselves up would be an abrupt change of the head coach, which is obviously a risky call but only a shake down like that could turn the team's season around, I think. And it's not like Andy Reid is a long-term solution anyway.

There is of course the issue of available coaching options at this point in the season but one could always try and sweeten the pie for names like Cowher, Dungy, Gruden to make a return to coaching. I assure you of one thing though - if you guys manage to get any proper coach to replace Reid, especially Cowher or Dungy, getting rid of Vick and finding a proper QB would be at the top of their list of things to do.
Then again, there is always the option to go for an up and comer like the Harboughs or Tomlin - a coach's gotta start from somewhere, after all - but that would require some good planning. Either way, a newbie would likely get rid of Vick too, if he knows what he is doing :)

I guess I agree about Reid. He's had a hell of a ride, and it would hurt to see him go but yeah, sometimes you have to know when to cut your losses short. Vick has been responsible for a couple losses and does have fuckups a little too often but the O-line lets him down big time too. I get what you're saying though. I think they should just say fuck it and rotate him and Foles. It sucks because the defense has actually been pretty great for the most part.

yep, especially considering they have had to face like 4-5 turnovers/game courtesy of Vick and co for pretty much all of this year ... ironically, Reid's "solution" for the team's troubles was replacing the DC

Reid is so done. But I don't see what Philly will do if they fire him. He's the best they've ever had - better than Vermeil.

steelers at giants - a great game to be that has been turned into a farce by the refs, so far.

not sure why they even bother having this game go on if they are gonna just hand it to the giants ... unnecessarily risking injuries only

is that gonna be in Chicago or Houston?

it won't be easy for Houston with that Chicago D and if the OC of the Bears has learnt his lesson on how to protect Cuttler. I can see the Bears take this one if they avoid a sack-fest on Cuttler.
In Chicago. Yeah, I suppose you're right. Just like everyone was right when we played Baltimore.

Baltimore is nowhere near the team they were until this season - their D is pretty poor this year even when they had Lewis, Webb, etc on there; Reed is playing injured and TS has probably rushed his return out of necessity.

if Chicago allow at most 3-4 sacks, I think they will take this in a close game. They will have to protect Cuttler via smart playcalls though as opposed to relying on the O-line to make a stand. One things almost sure though - it won't be as easy as vs this-year's Ravens.

Houston is not afraid of such logics.
