I remember Ranieri saying Juve should build a statue of him outside the stadium after the Catania game

Ranieri post-Catania:

“We should erect a statue in Amauri's honour for the way he kept the game alive right to the end."

Imagine Ronaldo on his first tour of the stadium seeing all the trophies we've won and jerseys of our legends then having to ask "why is there a big rusty statue of Janet Jackson over there" :D

Amauri slams 'disrespectful' Juve players
By Football Italia staff

Former Juventus striker Amauri slams Weston McKennie, Paulo Dybala and Arthur for their lockdown party. ‘It’s embarrassing on a global scale and so disrespectful.’
The Bianconeri are due to take on Torino today in the Derby della Mole, but these three players won’t be taking part.
They were dropped by coach Andrea Pirlo after they were caught breaking lockdown rules with a get-together of at least 10 people at McKennie’s home past curfew.
“I had hoped it was an April Fools’ Day joke, but instead it was all true,” Amauri told TuttoJuve.
“It was so disrespectful not just towards the club and fans, but also all those people who make sacrifices to respect the rules.
“We’re still in the middle of a pandemic, where people die every day. Players broke the curfew rules in my day, but the context here is totally different.
“Doing that a few days before a very important derby just makes it even worse. This is such a huge game and they ought to be fully focused.
“They were irresponsible. There are no excuses, it’s embarrassing on a global scale for Juventus.”
