No need to overreact now. Amauri is still a great player and can still be very useful.
He will be our starters for the years to come, all he needs besides him is a prolific finisher.
Because he is not the one! I ve been saying this, even before we bought him.
However the choice is made now and we better get the better of him.

He is a great tool, even if he doesnt score in regular basis.
Pairing him with another SS though, would be unwise. Since he is here and Diego is already behind him, what we needs, is smth like a young Treze,
(def not a Cassano/Giovinco type of player)

Iaq is in great form, but he also loses many chances too, together they create a great deal of chances, but what about finishing those chances?

He's out of form - people write him off easily and what irritates me is that people already forgot how he played and what kind of player he is. He actually adds a lot to our squad and when he's on-form he's one of the most complete strikers. I'm not saying he shouldn't be benched but what's with all these comments

I know why Dunga wants Fabiano ; I knew it all alonge ; he's not a type of player we need

Do you remember how he used to play for Palermo? Or for us, last season?

You say it's his current progress but I bet 90% of you would sell him right away.

Geez, haters. bianconero is your leader.

it's ok dont get worked up :p

One thing I don't like about Amauri is that he moans/cries/screams you name it each time we cross or a pass doesn't arrive to his feet or head.

He should try to depend on himself more than screaming at his mates.

he is out of form but still better then Trezeguet at most aspects of the game apart from scoring and that's the main thing for a striker.. the problem with a lot of members here is that when Trez doesn't score and disappears totally from the game there are always excuses like didn't get the ball, lacks confidence, out of form e tc but hey we like him and must play every game..

I'm not against benching him if he continues like this but why bash him when ever there is an opportunity and find excuses for an other ?

And that scene he made with his foot was really disgusting. I am sure there was nothing wrong with him.

that's precisely the problem...he's so desperate to score, he's trying to do it all by himself

The forum is going crazy, bashing players like Amauri, Camoranesi and Giovinco. I'm going to stop defending Amauri and I know that next time he has a good game the bashing will stop.

The q here is that what is point of having a big squad and good option of strikers to choose from if we just keep playing the same players. Clearly IQ is the more inform striker between him and Amauri right now. I dont think the ones doubting Amauri are saying as if he should be sold. Its just that we need goals to win games, and with IQ and Amauri on the pitch, the finishing product is lacking.

And thats the problem, his sacrificing team for his own success to score a goal.

I prefer getting the goals, not loose a game or points but later talk how Amauri had several chances, aka it just wasnt his day for the ball to go into the net.

Again it just all comes down to the point of, what is the point of having many striking options to choose from, if you keep playing players who are out of form.

Yet Iaquinta didn't pass to him for an easy tap in at 1-1 when Iaquinta was held up by Amelia after going round him.

but the thing is, Ama is still playing very well, he's not in the Trezeguet kind of form, when he can't even fucking kick the ball properly...he does brilliantly to beat his marker, make space for the shot, but then POOF! the chance is over and Amauri starts to bitch and moan :p
