For Amauri to play well he needs crosses from the flanks, last season how many goals did he score when someone put a decent cross in, the only balls he gets now are straight down the middle from the defenders, if Trezeguet was in his position it would be exactly the same situation they need the ball played to them in goal scoring situations not a long ball from the back and hope for the best

How many headers has he squandered this year that he "would" have scored last year. He has crosses coming in. It's not like an old nedved, Molinaro, etc were producing gems on a silver platter.
:p you know i like you
I like you too.

i laughed so hard towards the end of the game were amauri was chasing a long ball and just as he turns away from his defender the ball hits his back

hes fkn pathetic..

id rather have amoroso, tiribocchi, maccarone,di vaio,quaq,rocchi,floccari...id rather have boumsong play upfront instead of this douche

Have you watched a Juve game recently?:shifty:
I've been watching all season long. What is your point? I've seen him squander plenty of goal worthy service since last spring. Look how much we pay that guy for not scoring.

And don't tell me we don't have service up front when our defenders have been having to pull the weight of the attack from dead ball situations *cough* legro, canna, grosso, chiellini *cough*.

Our defenders do better at putting headers on goal than our own striker does. And guess what? It comes from service on dead ball situations.

For Hustini, and other who I feel have been overly critical of Amauri, I feel Zac is bang on here:

“He (Diego) should start as a trequartista between the lines and find the space, tying the midfield and strikers together. I expect him to release Amauri and Del Piero. Amauri is forced to play with his back to goal and we need to move the ball around so he can face the target.

That is why all he can do is offer knock-downs with his head or chest to other players.

Then, why don't IQ and Trez play with their back to goal? It's not all about Diego and the midfielders, although they are also partially blamed.

Amauri's positioning and movement on the field is awful. His movement influences the type of service he gets. I saw a lot of good crosses in the past 3-4 months where Amauri moved awkwardly and couldn't get to 'em. He also missed a lot of headers (some while he was totally unmarked). Plus, his decision making has been really bad lately. He shoots when he's supposed to pass and vice versa.

What about all the nice memories alongside DP? for example in 07/08, I'm sure you remember the wonderful goal Away against Livorno and the one he scored against Inter.
