Amauri’s mega price tag

Palermo striking star Amauri’s agent is determined that the Brazilian won’t leave the Rosanero for less than £18m.

The gifted marksman has managed to maintain a prolific strike rate, despite a serious knee injury that has threatened to recur.

The former Chievo man has been linked with Barcelona and Milan, but he won’t be a bargain buy.

“He is worth £18m and it is no secret that some of Europe’s biggest clubs are following him,” Mariano Grimaldi insisted on Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Of course he wants to play in the Champions League and maybe he can do that with Palermo if he is left in peace.

“The situation has been made completely clear to the Sicilians and whispers that he has problems with President Maurizio Zamparini are untrue.”

I think this is just to make his price go up. I'd be happy to get him but I like what we have right now. Adding a younger player to replace Trez in the long run would be more logical. *cough*Hunter*cough* :D

Amauri has been linked to Milan for a while now.
Milan needs an attacker more than we do. Being desperate for an attacker who can actually score they'll probably be ready to offer more money to Palermo and higher wages to Amauri. Much more money and higher wages that we can allow to offer.

Dida, Cafu, Serginho, Digao, Emerson, Kaka, Ronaldo, Pato.... there's another reason why he prefers Milan ahead of us.

We can forget about Amauri !

And you know that if Juve is link to a player then he will automatically be link to Inter (since their scouts suck so much that they they have hijack the players we want to buy: Diego, VDV, Ibrahimovic, Viera)

Liverpool-Arsenal: challenge market Amauri

09:00, December 11

Amauri back at the top of the list of desires Juventus to strengthen the attack. On the Brazilian Palermo there is the competition to beat AC Milan. Among engagement and card, the investment is around 40 million. You will Italian passport and can be forgiven for Ibrahimovic.

Like Mario Gomez also of Stuttgart. In exchange for Zalayeta to Naples, asked Hamsik or 8-10 million. Follow a young midfielder Spring of Genoa, Silvano Ray Garibaldi: The National Under-19 can get in exchange for Paro. Mellberg: "Juve? I can not deny. The next blow to zero parameter can be the Swiss Magnin of Stuttgart. Meanwhile stops still Camoranesi: another stop.

Five years after the death of Gianni Agnelli, the heirs answered the call. Yesterday Montezemolo and John Elkann have exalted team and the new Corsican society: "The Advocate would be proud of this Juve."

No One Can Force Us To Sell Amauri, Insists Palermo Chief

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is fed up with the rumours tipping Amauri for an imminent depature from the Stadio Renzo Barbera.

The highly regarded Brazilian striker is said to feature high on the shopping list of a number of top European clubs, including AC Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus and Roma.

Zamparini insists that this the ultimate decision will rest with him, however, and that all those teams can kiss their chances goodbye if Palermo qualify for the Champions League this season.

"If someone has signed a three-year contract with us, then I am under no pressure to sell,” he said. "Any interested club must wait until the end of the season. His value is £17 million and if the Rosanero qualify for the Champions League then he will stay.

"I know we can match any contract offer Juventus make to him."

Blessed with power, speed, skill, agility and imagination, the Brazilian hitman has blossomed into one of the top strikers in Serie A and has recovered well from a serious injury to score seven times this campaign.
