why the fuck would we buy gilardino? he clearly does not play well in big teams, as for amauri he is a great player but not needed. what is wrong with our board
Bringing in Gila would be a definite bad move on our part. He is not worth the money nor the ROI. But Amauri would be a fantastic acquisition for our club. Lets not forget that he will most likely be the most sought after player in serie A during this offseason.

If Gilardino comes instead of Huntelaar or Amauri I'm going to start supporting Albinoleffe. You'll have Secco to thank for that.
I'll jump on that band wagon with you tahir

Now i really don't want this guy

Amauri Will Cost €25m – Zamparini

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini says that star striker Amauri will not be sold for a penny less than €25m

Amauri is set to leave the Rosanero in the summer after receiving the club’s blessing to realise his ambitions at a bigger club.

The 27-year-old is wanted by a whole host of Europe’s giants, including Milan, Juventus, Barcelona and Chelsea.

Although Amauri is up for sale, Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has made it perfectly clear that he will not be allowed to leave unless his asking price of €25m is met.

"A Spanish side offered 22million euros, but I refused," the fiery businessman told the Italian media.

"For less than 25million euros we will do nothing, but I think an agreement could be close."

Amauri has scored nine times in 24 appearances in Serie A this campaign.

The Brazilian is expected to gain an Italian passport at the end of next month, which leaves open the possibility of him representing the Azzurri at this summer’s Euro 2008 finals

Ohhhh c'mon serfaraaz,enough with pessimism.
i am really fed up with secco raineri and the management i just cant take it anymore if players like molinaro cristico grygera almiron keep signing for juve then how will compete for scudetto and raineri is the main reason why juve have been so below average away for home

And what about the referees?

serfaraaz you can't win all the time, sometimes you need to be satisfied with 3rd or 4th spot after serie b,that's a huge prospect.

you are talking like a fan of fiorentina we spend money on such bad players thats why you are talking of third or fourth position raineri tactics and favouring some players like molinaro who is just useless and playing palladino out right when he is better suited on left side of midfield shows raineri is a bad coach
i think everybody expected the refrees would be bias against juve it will not change but i dont think raineri can win us a scudetto with the kind of players secco sign and i am just fed up of the shitty players we keep on signing if we want to compete in ucl and scudetto we should fire secco and raineri or at least one of them

Amauri Confirms Cheslea Interest

Palermo hotshot Amauri has substantiated the rumours that Chelsea are one of many clubs that are after his signature.

The 27-year-old is coveted by a whole host of Europe’s giants, including Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, and now it appears that Chelsea can be officially added to that list.

“Chelsea spoke to my agent,” confirmed the Brazilian powerhouse striker. "The Premier League is a very exciting championship, where the referee rarely interrupts the flow of play.

"I also love the fact that the public are very close to the pitch and to the players. Two of my favourite players are Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard."

With his lethal combination of brute strength, pace and finesse, Amauri could be considered a ready-made replacement for Didier Drogba, who has been tipped for a switch to Milan in the summer.

The Brazilian is expected to gain an Italian passport at the end of next month, which leaves open the possibility of him representing the Azzurri at this summer’s Euro 2008 finals.

In his latest interview, he also confirmed in emphatic fashion that he would gladly accept a call from Italy coach Roberto Donadoni.

"I would love to play at the championships for the Azzurri," Amauri thundered.

no so we don't waste 25mil on this clown
Like or not with our staff we are going to waste all our millions anyway.

Still,if not Amauri(who I think is great) , we don`t have many opinions left.

Huntelaar (won`t probably come since there would be some EPL club interested in him as well)

Benzema-dream on

Aguero-same as for Benzema

So we have just two realistic targets

Gilardino and Elmander

yeah but why waste money on a position that does not need covering we need first 11 starters in our team and fill positions like LB so whuy waste all that money on a striker that would be a sub and iaquinta is here too don't forget him. I prefer him to amauri who is overated and overpriced i mean he has just scored 9 goals and is hardly worth 25 million. My point is this money could be better spent

Amauri is much more than just a goal scorer and besides he was injured the first months of the season and not fit for a longtime after that. He suffered a very serious injury that kept him out of the game for more than half a year.

Amauri is not overrated, he is truely a great forward. He is also compatible with any kind of striker, field him with Trez, Iaquinta, DP or even Giovinco and it'll work.

yes but if you spend 25mil on a forward you want the complete package like Benzema, even though we will never get him. Also he is on the wrong side of his 20's to be worth so much.

Don`t always belive media. He is expencive but we can always pay less if we offer/loan some players.

    Marchionni (he would do surely)
    Almiron
    Nocerino (loan)
If we buy some more DCs maybe even Criscito on loan one more year
    ...

Instead of paying 25 mil or even 20 million on a player who is 28 years old. I'd rather we spend that sum on a young talented player (both pato and aguero cost their clubs about 20 millions each)........
