I find the Iaquinta - Mancini swap very interesting!!
Iaquinta would make room for a younger forward, like Huntelaar and among with a good young CB like Felipe, we have 3 very good and young players to strengthen our team now, even for the CL competition and make a part for our future backbone, when DP,Neddy and the likes will retire.
Adding Giovinco, Criscito,De Ceglie and Marchisio and we already have some quality depth for our next year squad!!

Iaq - Mancini? Although the swap might be possible, i would NEVER risk that. You never know how someone like mancini plays in a Juve-Shirt, and Iaq already proved himself, he's our perfect 3rd striker. (i think he's the juve-player with the best gazzetta-average-score 
, although he didn't play that much of course). Why risk giving away a such a good striker-sub for a mancini, who may be good, but nevertheless carries the risk of not matking the impact he's expected. plus, doesn't he play the giovinco-position?? In one thread most people agree that we need another striker, here suddenly, we give away a striker for a midfielder!? where's the sense in that?? So, it's a 'no' for me, although i rate mancini

As much as i like Iaquinta i dont really think he'll give us the potence we need in front of goal in europe. I wouldnt mind swapping him with mancini that way we could bring in another striker like mario gomez or the hunter. Amauri is a total waste of time im totally against him coming, he wont add a thing to our front line. Cassano would be a excellent purchase.

if he is already ready, he can "rest' DP right away, its a win -win situation for us.
And strategically correct since we only have to worry for Treze's hair,
in the current situation Iaquinta+Treze will "expire together and we have to buy a new pair within a year, thats a big risk and a very costly one!
Right now, we dont need a new forward, we have enough, but if our managers choose to bring one more, then someone has to go.
As for Mancini, NO, he does not play in Giovinco's position,
Mancini would replace Neddy in our squad as a LM, Giovinco cant play that role, he hasnt got the pace, the cross, power, stamina, speed and marking abilities for that role, esp not yet. Giovinco is better used as a ACM and maybe even as a SS a la Baggio, in a trident, behind the strikers. We need someone to replace the aging/retiring Neddy, who still is one of our most decisive players,
IMO it is one of our priorities, our team is Nedved depended for years.
And there are very few players in the world that may replace him, Mancini is one of them!
Mancini would be a starter, whilst Iaquinta is a sub, so this swap makes sense tactically and strategically, because the Mancini-Huntelaar or Amauri (which i also consider a waste of money) pair,

I see your point and you're right, but fact is, chances to get someone like huntelaar this season are pretty low. actually, i consider the huntelaar deal already missed. I saw him lately in NT, and he's impressive, apparently, real, roma and half the EPL are all over him. It will be very hard to get huntelaar. Amauri? he's about the same age as iaq. i agree completely to bring in a new striker, and believe me, i'd replace iaq with someone younger like KJH or aguero or so immediately, but i doubt we'll splash 20+ mio on a striker THIS season. atm, we have other positions to fix, so i think for another season we could go on with iaq as a sub.
For the rest, i agree, i thought mancini would play more central than nedved, but in that case, mancini as a nedved replacement would be fine. But without a concrete alternative to iaq we should not give him away, and at the moment, i fail to see who will take the iaq position (even if it's on the bench)

I would so this transfer. I am a big fan of Iaquinta and i really like him. But I think Mancini would give Juventus more than Iaquinta. We need a player like Mancini, while Iaquinta spends as much time on the field as he does on the bench.
Mancini can play both flanks, scores goals and would add some creativity which we clearly need.
Also if it is true we are going to sign Amauri then i don't see the need to have both him and Iaquinta. I want us to keep Palladino because he has a lot of talent, is young and is through and through Juventus.

I personally agree, but our stupid managers have other things in mind, i dont know why, but signing a new forward seems to be a priority for them

Giovinco a young new somewhat unproven player to replace a club hero , with most games and goals at the club a world cup and CL champion. WOW a real good replacement , might aswell bring back zalayeta for starting role over del piero.

Mancini would be a perfect winger to get, a player with pace, can play both sides of the park and can play in different formations. He can dribble, creative and score goals. Does he replace Nedved? Yes, in this case he does replace him on the left, but another central midfielder who is creative is obviously needed, and together that will replace Nedved. Look at my line up, hamsik in the middle with mancini on the left...that is more creative than zanetti in the middle with nedved on the left! It is a more balanced midfield as well.
