“Of course returning to Real Madrid is what I'd like best. This is my desire, to win with Real Madrid. But in that club there are some extraordinary players, and what I want is to play and feel important.

“Next year I'll play for the team that gives me the greatest opportunities to do that.”

Morata was also asked about the possibility of playing in the Premier League.

“I have a few offers in England and I'm tempted, not just because of the salary. I think the Premier League would be a great achievement for me, given my characteristics.

“This isn't to say that I want to leave Juventus, a team that I have nothing but kind words for. I'm just saying that going to the Premier League wouldn't be a step back, on the contrary.

Why would you curse him? He's a Madridista first and foremost.

I used to blame Marotta in this deal but it's hard to say he $#@!ed up. A lot of people thought 20m is too much for a bench warmer at the time and Real Madrid wouldn't have accepted to let him go for cheap unless they insert a clause like that.

That being said, Morata should've been treated better by Allegri over the course of this season. But then there's the possibility that his price tag is going up with him featuring more and hence Real Madrid would be more certainly activating their clause.

It just was all written since the very beginning. The best of luck to Alvaro, he'll always be loved.
Next time the club should either be sure about the player talent and do whatever to sign him (Dybala) or simply move to other targets and save us from looking like a glorified Sassuolo. This risk mitigation technique used with Morata doesn't fit a club of our statue.

Its not his return to Madrid that pisses me off, but his expression of admiration for EPL is a bit too much.
He gets back to Real, I am ok with that- its all on Beppe, but in reality we've got 2 years of a very good CF and his salaries paid for - not that bad, maybe even good.
He goes to Arseanal or any other EpL runner - he is as stupid and greedy as they come.

At Arsenal he likely will be a starter and have more playing time. At Juve he will be benched in a lot games, there are no indicators that Allegri wants to have Morata-Dybala as undisputed starters, even if both are in good form.

Morata is about to become a starter for the spanish national team. Undoubtedly at Real or in the PL he can earn much more money also, so why should he accept the possibility of less playing time for less money? Problem is that Allegri for tactical reason's, whether justified or not, prefers Mandzukic.

Bc I realize this clause in the contract was partly what Morata wanted. And that sucks. We came in for him - the perfect place to develop and grow as a player. Took a chance on a kid that couldn't play for Real Madrid. He owes everything to us! And now I feel like he's backstabbing us with stupid comments on Juve only a stepping stone for greater things.

At least he could have made these comments after the move. Now he's with Spain NT and probably said goodbye to our guys already.

He will have more playing time in Arsenal, but also in Napoli and Roma. Playing time comes in two ways - lower the level of competition or raise your own - for a player like Morata its a choice, because he has quality and time. . Real or Juve both represent the decision to raise your level, others not so much...so its not just about playing time, its about money.

Real had 3 coaches in 2 years - a period of stability for them. I hope all of them see Morata as a starter, but what can not be stated is that Allegri doesn't! He will take the crown here in an year if he works for it, already has the #9.

A deal without this clause would have bankrupted us

He can $#@! off, he's no better than Coman or Vidal, blame the buyback all you want but the player clearly wants away,
Dude he was the sub of Mandzukic all year long i knew he would switch somewhere where he could be the main star

Juventus was never going to pay a 50m fee for Morata. NEVER.

He already played for Real from age 16 to age 22. Obviously those are very important years in the development of a player. You could say he became a star when playing for us, but he already had 37 appearances for Real and 10 goals.
