Am worried cuz their attacking trio in bad shape, now everyone hate bale after this season and he may leave.

Ronaldo is 30 not getting younger that will leave benzema alone which he cant survive alone.

I don't think he is Madrid minded he is just constantly asked about it.
:agree: the media constantly drills him with questions about Madrid, it's not as if he's talking about them on his own accord.

It reminds me of the EPL fanboys last year saying shit like "Look how much Marotta talks about Vidal to the press, he clearly is trying to create a bidding war for him and looking to sell him ASAP etc" - totally ignoring the fact that the media constantly brought up the topic and Marotta was simply replying.

He'd make an incredible fullback for us.
I'm not sure if you're serious, because his career started picking up when Tottenham found out that he's more of a winger or forward than a fullback, he's actually a pretty poor fullback. IMO one of his biggest strengths in addition to his pace of course, is his ability to score goals.

I am serious. And he's a great fullback in our system. We've always played with fullbacks who go forward a lot, but creativity has been a bit lacking.

I understand where you're coming from, but I still don't think he'd fit in any system as a fullback. Not only would it be a huge waste of his ability, he'd also hate playing there, I doubt he'd be interested in playing as a fullback ever again in his career.

Also, I think Evra probably has another year in him at the top level.

Our fullbacks actually need to excel defensively as they've got to keep their flank safe by themselves basically. Of course our CMs to drift wide a lot of times to help them out when they're getting double teamed, but that should happen as little as possible seeing as that again leaves holes in the center.

Plus not to mention, players like Evra who are not in general a very good defender, is actually quite difficult to dribble past. Those attacking fullbacks sometimes tend to be very good one on one defenders, if not very good in other aspects like positioning and discipline. Alves is another example of that, he's a very good one on one defender.

I believe he'd do great, as we'd school him tactically for that position and he has all the abilities. What he doesn't have IMO is creativity in tight positions. I don't think he's creative enough to be an attacker in Italy/Spain.

I agree with this.

Agree with your second part (he wouldn't do badly, but worse than in England), but he'd be a disaster at FB. HIs positioning would be far too poor, you're basically assuming that we'll just completely transform his tactical abilities.
