I am not denying that he is in very good form, I am just saying he is nothing special. You look at Reus for example, thats a talented player.

Morata doesn't excel at anything. Higuain is the more developed perfect example of that.
Morata outshined Reus today.

It's amazing the control he has compared to Llorente.

Lol so young too.

This game will give him a huge confidence boost. Imagine being that young and so decisive at home in the CL knockouts!

Definitely he was untouchable most of the time. Is good to see him delivering in this game, as it was a difficult one and everyone shitted bricks after bvb goal...

Him and tevez fought like real champs today. What a duo.

He just scored in my game. Class finish, clinical the way it should be. He's been dangerous every time he touched the ball in this first half. As much it doesn't really appeal to me, pace is way too important in the modern game. We want to play defend and rely on counterattacks, we need it.

By the end of the match, around minute 85, not so sure exactly, you will enjoy a great moment
I don't know what it is but i'll take a guess it's something to do with Pereyra almost doing something.

cavani was also a nobody at palermo when he was 21-22.

morata in the same age is a starter for juve in CL and is rated by real madrid.
Do you see him as having the potential to be as good as cavani?

I certainly don't. I see him as growing to become like Higuain but not Cavani. Cavani is a completely different player and so was Raul (who was on a whole different level of skill to any of them).

Higuain is far from a bad player and for 20 mill to keep Higuain in your squad for the long term thats definitely a good deal. Higuain is just not world class is all I am saying.

Morata seems to be missing some skills that can only come naturally or by Ronaldo levels of training and growth. I am talking about natural talent here. Morata is a hardworking good talent but lacks that natural talent. Very good player to have and should certainly start ahead of llorente as he earned it but not comparable to Raul. The fanboyism is pretty insane.

What talent is morata missing? He's got technical skill. He goes past defenders easily. He's got aerial skill. He has power. He has speed. So what's missing exactly?

Morata outshined Reus today.
Sure he was Man of the match. Bonnucci outshined chiellini and hummels too and was the second best player on the field.

What I am talking about is natural talent. Reus has that in abundance. Morata is a hardworker but doesn't have that natural talent. Its really a simple point that everyone is mistaking it to mean that I am saying he is a terrible player.

If you want an extreme example you can look at Dirk Kuyt and Camoranesi. Kuyt was pure hard work and some talent in positioning while camoranesi was pure talent in terms of passing, vision and dribbling. Kuyt was more effective in terms of goals and assists but only a mad man would see both as equally talented.

Another example, Pirlo and really any other midfielder ever. Pirlo's natural talent in passing and vision is from a different world. Similarly Messi has more natural talent than Ronaldo but the latter is an insane hardworker (he is naturally talented too but not like messi).

So again, morata seems like a good effective player but he lacks natural talent. The raul comparisons are pure fanboyism.
