well you got to keep playing him until he hits form. how do you expect him to get any momentum when he plays so little

it's amazing how people expect him to perform in 60 minutes every 4 weeks, but give llorente the benefit of the doubt.

Of course. He'll get his minutes. But that wasn't my point. He's still a number 2 choice striker, one for the future. We need a better number one.

Someone more agile, better movement and handling of the ball. Who can make better decisions and is clinical in front of goal.

With Llorente offering no threat and Morata still being too raw right now tbh it's a shame we need to play with 2 up top because if Tevez isn't having a good game we're essentially carrying a striker.

Save us wingers. Please.

We haven't had a strong offensive line for almost a decade now.

I love Tevez but with Allegri he plays a free role and isolates the main striker. That striker needs to be someone who can handle things by himself and isn't limited to the ever needing of services. Or go for wingers.

6 years are hardly a decade ;)

It doesn't make it any less of a problem though, but we don't have the financial firepower to just upgrade it by buying one or two worldclass strikers. What we can do, and what we have done the past two years, rather sucessful if I might add, is looking for freebies or discount players (Llorente, Tevez), as well as affordable youngsters who have the potential to be worldclass in the future (Morata, Berardi).

Was very lively the furst 20 mins...then faded...

Still, i would continue using him. He is more useful in open games than llorente. At least give him the chance. He never plays.

The same with Coman

I don't get you. We had some of the best defensive records in Europe under Conte and suddely it's been a decade since our last strong D-line.

You won't criticize where it's needed and deserved but will where it isn't. :sergio:

And if we had a fit barzagli, Asa or caceres you wouldn't have anything to be bitching about

Huh? Who said anything about defensive?

Your eagerness to start an argument is bigger than your taking the time to read my post properly.

fully agree with you, forwards/strikers are heavily confidence dependent, more so than other infield players, and it starts with the coach's faith in you. Maybe he doesnt have the maturity we require, but he cant be worse than llorente.

I really wish he would stay in the middle more often, I do like the runs in the channels but too often he goes wide are there is nobidy to put the ball into in the middle.

He is good enough in the air and strong enough to do it and he could score a lot more.
