C’mon dude. That’s not true at all. Tons of strikers score more at smaller clubs where they are the focal point of an attack and then flop at big clubs where they aren’t and have to work with other top attackers. Like Dybala and Morata having to tailor their games to suit Ronaldo here.
Also, Napoli has almost always played more attacking, higher scoring footie than Juve. Milik just isn’t very good. He doesn’t offer anything aside from his goals and he’s never been prolific like say Icardi of years ago.
Imagine us play Dybala - Morata as 2 upfront. I honestly wouldn't expect many goals from Morata.

I do think Morata is very useful in our current squad, and logically looking, at least in my opinion, of all our striker options I'd sell Dybala (like I said 100 times). Not Morata.

However that doesn't mean I'm too happy about him being a starter here. In a perfect world I'd like to have him as a backup, despite his numbers this season. But I believe he's too expensive to be that since we're giving 10mln total for his wages. Milik would be a good option to have for our bench.

Also, not so long ago you were saying how Morata is better striker than Icardi because he scored more goals in the last three years. When you look how much he played in Paris, you'd see that goals per minute is better than Morata, even in his bad years in Paris. What he did at Inter was crazy. I understand when somebody says he's an asshole or that he doesn't suit Ronaldo, but saying that Morata is better is pure bullshit.

But yes, I'm not suggesting this season has turned into shit because of Morata. That's nonsense. I, like I mentioned before, was surprised to that rumour.

Icardi’s best season at Inter was 26 goals- 7 assists. 33 goal contributions in 3426 minutes. Or 104 minutes per goal contribution.

Morata as I said above has 16 goals-12 assists. Or 28 goal contributions in 2322 minutes. 83 minutes per.

So not bullshid at all. He’s a much better all-around forward.

Icardi is obviously a better goalscorer. And if we were buying a forward to play between two non-goalscoring wingers or alongside a pass-first support striker Icardi> Morata. But alongside a goalscoring forward like Ronaldo or Tevez or Dybala, etc, Morata > Icardi and it’s not close.

I think Milik is a better player. It's just that I rather see Milik on Ronaldo's place rather than Morata's.

But yeah, if anything, Milik is a nice buy. I still can't believe his figures are so low after his seasons at Napoli.
How is Milik better than Morata? What has he done in his career to justify that? That makes no sence.

That being said, I would still get Milik for 12m rather than spending huge on Aguero or Icardi. He would be ok as a backup. But at the same time I wont sell anyone from our forwards too. Our frontline is fine as it is, just one backup stricker and we are fine there.

But Morata was quite poor for many years, though. You only mention this season with a reason, mate. Try seeing their career overall. One is constantly providing good numbers and the other one not so much.

As for the second part, I agree.

He did great at Ajax and he did great Napoli? And he scores quite often in France now as well? What was bad? 20 goals on 30 matches for Ajax? 38 on 90 matches for Napoli? Or 4 goals on 8 matches in France? Everywhere he went he bascially proved himself.

Can you look how many shitty seasons Morata had? Or you will just look at this season? Morata couldn't deliver at neither England nor Spain.

Milik is ok. Not as bad as people here made him out to be, but at the same time no way near as good as you made him out to be. He had a couple of good seasons I agree, but Morata had some good seasons too. Sure, he isnt the best goal scorer, but still the guy has been clutch for us. I dont remember him having a bad season in Juve. Even in this shitty season he has been doing good in this chaos of a team. Im sure he will do even better with a better midfield behind him.

No, Milik did not have some good seasons, he did good for all three teams he was in, three different leagues. You obviously didn't read my posts because 1) I said Milik would be a good/cheap option, bench player 2) I never stated he's a brilliant player

The thing is, Milik provided quality, not world class, but still quality, during all his years. Almost all Juve fans who fap over Morata is because of this season mainly. Nobody even mentions his time at Atletico or Chelsea. Did you ever wonder why? Chelsea wanted to get rid of him, rightfully so. So did Atletico. Morata gets high wages, very high wages, and he doesn't deliver on that level constantly and that's a fact. To buyout Morata would be very heavy. Can't say the same when it comes to Milik.

If you read my first post, you would see that I agree that he is good player and I would bring him here as a backup, especialy for that price. He is indeed a good player but you said he is better than Morata, but he isnt. Or at least I dont agree that he is. I dont care if Morata failed in Chelsea or Atletico or whoever, he has been doing good with us in every season and that is a fact.

We wont buy Morata anyway, one more season long loan and he will be gone I think. I agree that the pre-agreed amount with Atletico is too much.

Which raises a question, if we're not buying him, should we pay 20mln for one season loan? Or just get Milik to sit on the bench and switch maybe to a different formation.

Neither redemption nor renewal for the loan of Morata. He’s considered too expensive for Juventus. Morata is edging closer to a return to Atletico Madrid [AS]

So Milik and who?
