Chelsea signed him for ~70m euros, our discount should be way bigger
No. Just because we have a guy who lets players go if they want to leave, irrespective and regardless of whether the fee is sufficient or not, doesn't mean other clubs have to follow suit. If they don't like our offer, they will force him to stay, or ask him to join another club. He has a contract, and he needs to respect/honor it if the club demands so. They're not just gonna bend over because Morata wants Juve and we want him to come.

well they did bend over with Cuads :D I'm just saying we're doing them a favor buying their flop of the season and most expensive signing ever for 60m. it doesn't matter if it's spread over 2 years, fair price should be lower.

Cuadrado was signed for 35M and then moved over to us over 30M in a similar deferred payment deal. Dint exactly 'bend over'. And Cuadrado was a bigger flop than Morata is for Chelsea.

He was a “flop” because he barely played and wasn’t really given a chance.

Much like De Bruyne, Salah, Lukaku etc.

Cuadrado could and should have been a massive hit in the EPL.

But Chelsea dint 'bend over' for us with Cuadrado, neither can you expect them to bend over and give their record signing away for peanuts. The fee is likely to be high because we would do a deferred payment deal and it would also help Chelsea avoid a loss on their books. Its the only way you can get him with this kind of deal(expensive loan deal + high obligation fee).

Edit: Ok, I get the context of your post now. Never mind :D

I dont mind the high fee (should we get him) as long as its not eating up all of this year's budget. This would be a Costa-esque deal should we do it and 46M for Costa is looking like a bargain atm. People were skeptical about his high obligation fee when we first bought him too.

Morata is proven here. Pay the money and let us enjoy to have great players like him.

If Juve are interested in Morata is because they have a planned budget already to improve the mdifield the midfield most likely.

Lets wait and see what they are planning.-

Is it the “guy” or the “club” that lets players go when they want? I doubt beppe unilaterally makes that decision. Pretty sure it’s a club philosophy not a beppe philosophy.

Lets hope not. We are getting Can almost for free, like paying 5 mils a year or so.

We need someone better on the midfield. An upgrade to Khedira, sturaro and even Matuidi.

I don't think Kean has a future here. On the other hand, that Barrow dude :tuttosport: :D
You think so? Kean seems to be very skilled for his age.

How good is barrow? I saw the atalanta milan game but he did nothing out of the ordinary, in fact fumbled some attacks... but im aware it was just one game
