The meeting with Real has been delayed due to the Euros, them activating the clause just means we'll be competing on an equal footing with the others.
All we know is the cancelled the planned meeting and now evidently sent them buying him back by e-mail instead of even bothering to discuss anything with us. So I fail to see what hope there is to be had in any of this?

Smart move. They knew better than to sit down with Beppe and risk being mindfucked out of Alvaro. Safer to email than meet him eye to eye

Like a bad soap opera our day started and he was our guy. In the morning he was RM player and at night he next game is against us ( well no us us but our BBC+Gigi are like 95% of italy ). There's nothing we can do

Release the Kraken
I remember after this happened Ronaldo got up looking like he was about to get in Chiellini's face, made eye contact with him, and decided on a calm chat instead

Needs to be way more consistent and add to his all-around game to start for Real over Benz. He's still not a great finisher nor a creator. But it's La Liga so even I could pull 30 a year.

Good luck Alvaro! Hope Juve felt like home to you and that you'll remain a bianconero at heart.

Morata clearly didn't care about staying here. I can accept that as RM is his childhood team, but I was sick and tired of hearing his excuses when asked about his possible transfer. He is a great player, have the potential of becoming world class but is replaceable. Probably not with what we got from his sale, but right now he's not worth what real was asking. Thanks for the CL goals but he's not a juve player anymore so fuck him.

I would love if we could replace him with someone like Cavani, Alexis or even Ibra but I don't see it happening.

How come? Morata didn't have anything to say in this deal really. He has a contract with Real and they brought him back, it's as simple as that. I don´t understand the panic because this was obviously always going to happen, we were always supposed to re-negotiate the deal and face competition for him. Real probably just had to bring him back before a certain date in order to activate the clause. We'll see in the coming weeks how badly he wants Juventus when Real gets multiple offers from other teams, hopefully he'll push Real (unless he decides to stay) to sell back to us.

I didn't really like his League performance but he was very important in the Champions League

i hope Marotta sign Sanchez or someone with similar quality....maybe Berardi will be convinced now that Morata is gone so he will be guaranteed more playing time

sad to lose him but it was expected

kudos to real, that's the way you treat business partners

if this information about the cancelled meeting and email is legit, no way i'd even talk to them about pogba, regardless of the player's intentions. fuck 'em.

Sad to see this guy go, he was one of my favorites. Would have loved to have built around him, Dybala and Pogba. Alas with the way the deal was structured, there was always the risk of losing him back to Real. In any case, in its history the club has lost even greater more important players, but we have always managed to replace them with players of equal or even greater standing.

I have faith that the great man will see us through this.

Goodbye and goodluck champion. Would have loved for him to stay longer, as he really does have the potential to be one of the best CFs in the world soon. Fucking buyback clause, lets hope we never get dragged into this sort of business again. Ah well. It's over now! Thanks for the goals and thanks for that run into the CL final. But I hope Chiellini tears dat ass up on Sunday afternoon :)

I really doubt he's gonna stay at Real.
Me neither. I'd rather have paid up to another 20 millions to Real for making him stay, than risking failing to sign a first class striker. But obviously that wasn't enough. I'm curious how much money another club will have to bring up for him...
