Those two are ridiculously talented and will be considered the absolute best for years to come you can't have a team full of Pogbas and Dybalas. Morata has all the tools to become one of the best strikers around.

No how they will react lol. They lost league, now if they lose CL final too, it may lead to reactionary bigger Mercato.

That's my assumption. I don't think Marotta means that exactly, but something close to it prolly.
Then that just means we have to hope for them to lose CL final so they go all guns blazing in the mercato and buy big names.

Surely "a bigger mercato" doesnt mean 'get morata'.

Question

At this point, what makes Morata more attractive for a team loaded with shits of cash, that wants results NOW, compared to Higuain who just scored 36 goals in ultra extreme cattanaccio serie a ?

You missed the point. Reactionary bigger Mercato entails a star striker for huge sum, think Crapandowski, Augero and such type of striker. Don't count Morata as that for them. He is pretty much the safe and expected rotation signing coming home.

Yeah, thats kinda what i'm saying.

A big mercato means a big name player, and Morata isnt one in the eyes of their fans.

If real wants to keep him at the club, they'll need to consider what the player wants. Cause after 2 years, he'll get exactly the same as before : second fiddle to the main CF. All that changed was the name of that CF.
But they can totally do that and expect him to suck it up.

And as i've tried to say here a few times to ALOT of people : Dont worry about 'selling' rumors. Worry when Real/Zidane says they want to play him.

^^There you go regarding the 80m:

I literally couldnt give less of a fuck if Morata stayed or left. Hes never gonna be that guy unlike Pogba or Dybala. Definitely expendable.
I hope he'll stay since he's great in the CL and has WC potential, but yeah, it won't be devastating if he left.

It's not that, it's this:

If Real doesn't exercise their option and we sell Morata to anyone else before Real's option expires, then we've to pay Real 80m.
Thats one part of the clause. And you are partly wrong again.

First of all, we CANT sell him to any third club without letting real madrid know, because the clause has a point that says that real madrid can prevent that sale by matching the offer of the third team, but they have 72 hours to bid an offer. If they dont, juve can freely sale morata to the new team.

The other part of the clause says that morata is obliged to accept a return to real madrid if madrid exercise the clause. But If morata refuses to return forcefully, then Juventus needs to pay real madrid 80 million euros as compensantion.

Both pages of the contract in where this clauses appear, are signed by morata himself and marotta. So its GG.
