Same happened last year, although the injuries came in September rather than now.

It did happen last year. Hopefully Chiellini, Khedira and Morata recover well and on time. If that's the case it shouldn't be a huge concern.

Instead of our supposedly poor mercato, I think this is a true "crisis" for us at the moment. Way too many injuries now, to key players, and the season isnt that far away.

I think everything is adding up. The mercato although not poor but does not seem to address our priorities first is adding to the accumulated injuries. The biggest crisis could be a string of bad results of what seems to be a tough start of the season, getting stuck ther and end up chasing. Let's see what this team is made of.

The guys trained for 5 days and started playing friendlies against teams much better prepared. That's what happens. Stupid preseason planning. This is on the management who organized preseason and on the physical training staff.
