Man,I hate it that now spain can use a proper striker instead of a false 9 with Alvaro, that would make them more dangerous, but im so happy for our boy Alvaro!

He got the number 7 Raul used to wear too,big things coming for this boy and i hope he becomes our legend and not Madrids

I can't see Spain play with two strikers, and so Morata will battle Diego Costa for the spot.
He has a great chance of playing for Spain if he can up his game over the next season maybe.

And thus signing the likes of falcao and cavani or even suarez and ibra would only backfire to us... The likes of zaza is enough to compliment morata, giving him competition and we can focus on getting co-tevez

Damn, hopefully Real don't buy him back
I am hoping they dont. He is a fantastic striker and will keep getting better.

But from an objective point of view it would be straight up dumb for Madrid to not bring him back and they put that clause in his contract for a reason. If he does not go this summer he will probably be gone next summer.

Fingers crossed he refuses to go and stays with us though!

He can't go this summer. The earliest Real can exercise the clause will be summer of 2016. A lot will depend on Morata's will, as Real can't force him to accept the move. It only gives them option to make a bid and we have obligation to accept it, if it meets the agreed price, but Morata has the final say in all this. As much as it would be exciting for any player to go to Madrid, the prospect of having fierce competition for your spot and probability of riding the bench in the beginning, as opposed to secure status that he has here, isn't enticing to all players.

@zizinho: we have crossed the Higuain line. Morata is not only currently a better player than Higuain but also better the Costa.

And its not just rakib but also DelPiero84
There's no doubt who I'd select in my team among these.

It seems he's not too good with Ancelotti. Hopefully he stays as their coach for a bit longer so Morata won't have doubts over his future.
The kid is brilliant, developing very fast these past few months.

Can we start "sanctioning" - @Hustini - people who still don't get it and spread this nonsense?

Morata has already signed a contract with Madrid which would come into effect if/when Madrid take up their option. In other words Álvaro has no say in the move- if Madrid want him he's there.
