In july, juve fans ( not all ) insulted marotta for this signing.
Now, we compare morata who cost us just 20 millions with 4,4 million gross salary with higuain who cost napoli about 40 million with 11 million gross salary.
Or with cavani who cost psg about 60 million with 20 million gross salary.

you just hate marotta to not buy player what you want.
So that, you always criticize marotta signing even that player play so well.

Again , DELUSION.

Higauin isnt, you dont care about stats, while ignoring Benzema is a better more well rounded player, scores more in bigger stages in CL (10th best CL scorer is just stats now???), and most of the goals was when Higauin was there, and they had the same service. In fact right now and past couple of seasons Benzema scores 30 goals a season, but spends most of his time doing the ungrateful work of laying it off and creating plays for the true "strikers" of Real, Ronaldo and Bale. He is not someone who sits idly by waiting for service, he is basically a role player used to make things smoother and easier build up for the wing forwards.

That said, Benzema is having a poor season, but still a better player then Gonzalo.
:agree:

And Benzema still has 7 goals in 9 CL appearances, in this poor season of his.

lol. Quag scored plenty of goals in EL as well, but that doesn't mean anything. Current top scorer is Alan from Salzburg, never heard of him tbh. CL is the ultimate test for strikers and Higuain has been abysmal in that regard. Let me repeat it for you 9 goals in his 7 years with Real and you consider this guy as a good striker. Pretty low standards you've got there. Morata's one CL goal scored this year bears more significance than any of Higuain's. When the stakes are high this guy chokes.

As for Benzema he isn't a WC, if he was less lazy he might become one, but Real chose to keep him in the end instead of Higuain, right?

Morata was impressive when he was given minutes, showed that he possesses the right set of attributes that might take him to achieve something extraordinary. In any case do you think our board would have decided to spend 20m on a player (first time in the last several years) based on his underwhelming performances?

Quite clearly Morata at this stage of his career is superior player to Argentinian, if we consider goal/minute ratio there can't be any discussion regarding this.
Do you realize that Higuain scored last season in the CL too right? You realize that Tevez is probably the top player with the worst CL record probably amongst all the top players. Do you realize that when Higuain was 22 he scored 27 goals in 32 appearances.

There is no hope

SO Higuain was good at 22, and has been going downhill ever since? Interesting.

Tevez has won a CL with ManU. He has 10 goals in 40 CL games.

Higuain has 13 in 53 CL games.

Seeing as Tevez drops deep and offers much more than Higuain defensively and in terms of build-up play and chance creation.

Higuain is far worse in CL than Tevez.

Try again though. Please.

He has scored 14 goals in almost 60 apps for either Napoli or Real as far as CL is concerned. You can hardly do worse than that.

Higuain actually has managed a brilliant total of 2 goals in 20 CL knockout games.

Yes, you read that right, 2 goals in 20 CL knockout games.

Morata has already matched that with 2 goals in 4 CL Knockout appearances.

Even Tevez has 3 in 11 CL knockout appearances.

I'm pretty sure Higuain is the biggest choker ever in CL, when it actually matters outside the group stage. 2 goals in 20 games.

Bar a season or two Higuain has always been a crappy finisher and when you consider that it should be his strong point seeing that he has very few facets to his game, he cannot be held in such high regard like Hist tends to do.

Higuain did not continue to progress thats obviously true. He had an amazing start and kept getting better for a little while and then he stopped. He is still a very good striker at Napoli and has been very effective for them in the CL and Europa league. The comparison being made here is between Higuain and Morata where Morata is claimed to be at the same level already of Higuain and on another occasion was claimed to be better than Higuain was at 22.

I used Tevez as an example to show a striker we all easily acknowledge as much better than morata despite having an abysmal CL record. Tevez didnt score in Europe for four years before he scored his first CL goal with us this season. Even in Europa where its allegedly easy and meaningless to score tevez has 1 goal in 13 games. Higuain has been on fire for Napoli in the CL and Europa. His bad European years were with Madrid but during those very same years he was a very prolific goal scorer in la liga under intense pressure and competing with Benzema for time. He is now less prolific in the league but much better in Europe.
I am not arguing that Higuain is a better player than Tevez because I dont think he is. The comparison here is with Morata.

Higuain and Tevez are comparable though I prefer Tevez's work ethic and endless running. Morata is at a much lower level then these two. He is having a great start to his Juve career but its delusional to think he is already at the level of Higuain and Tevez.

This should end this discussion in terms of difference in quality in BIGGIEST stage in club football, all these stats were collected in september (basically before this CL season started, a CL season where he has scored 7 goals...):

Highest CL goal scorers per 90 minutes:

Highest CL assists per 90 minutes:

Highest CL goals+assists per 90 minutes:

Yup. Benzema is a different monster all together. They were at a close level for a while but Benzema has really matured since then into a new monster.

Btw Morata is NOWHERE NEAR CLOSE TO Higauin, whoever said that is kidding themselves. He has alot to prove to even utter his name in these scenarios.

I really don't care about Europa. It's an irrelevant league. Higuain scoring against teams like Dnipro, Dinamo, Trabzonspor, Praha, Bratislava means absolutely nothing to me.

Higuain, as I showed, has far worse CL stats than Tevez when it matters. 20 knockout games, 2 goals. He sucks when the pressure is on. Absolutely appalling.

Tevez is on another level entirely from Higuain.

You'll get a lot of bashing here for stating the obvious. A couple of weeks ago Morata was already as good as Raul. So moving down to Higuain is great progress. Next step is Icardi.
