how ironic that i decide to get a financial adviser during such dark times
It's actually a great time to do so. Once this crap is over now, the US will be ripe with investment opportunities all over the place (barring the country is destroyed)

I guess he meant this was a dubious time to put your faith in a financial advisor, considering all the bad advice that has led to this calamity.

not so sure about that Andy, and how can the top economy in the world be emerging? I am afraid the US will find it very hard to regain the supremacy it used to enjoy and we have one man to thank for that.

By "emerging market" I mean one that will rise in value over time. Unfortunately for us, we just have to let this market run its course, drive itself down over the next year or so and start over. I don't buy all the doomsday stuff as I believe in the business cycle, but I don't throw it out either.

Of course, this country may be coming to an end and we'll be fighting for scraps of meat out on the street while screaming, "Zhōnghuá Mínguó!"

My portfolio is absolutely stellar. Couldn't have better plays put on in these past two weeks. Although I might take my short position on oil off later today and put it back on later in the week.
