we managed fine without asa and romoulo all the year, even pogba, vidal and pirlo get injured we manage it.

not to mention dybala who play behind the strikers some times.

mvp + sturaro, asa and pereyra are more than good imo.

7 mids should be enough IMO because of everyones versatility. Pereyra and Vidal can play AM or CM. Marchisio can play DM or CM. And an addition most people seem to be overlooking is the return of Asa. A young player would have a hard time getting minutes.

They should be looking for a replacement for Pirlo soon, but if theyre sure hes coming back next year I could understand them prioritizing other things right now. An Allan loan + option would definitely make sense though.

if we managed without and they are ready next year why you need more?
we have 4 of them starting (usually Marchisio, Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo), all 4 of them were injured this season at some point. our backups are Pereyra (who has played most games this season in Serie A in our team), Romulo, Sturaro (even though he joined in January played 10 games in serie a already) and Padoin who played 23 serie a games this season (Asamoah is a LB unless we buy another LB to rotate with Evra). see how much our bench plays? we even had Barzagli come of the bench for a mid too change formation because we were short on CMs sometimes...

now, Padoin is probably leaving (either him or Romulo, but id rather keep Romulo), Pirlo most likely too if we win the CL. that would leave us with 6 players for 4 spots. if we want to prevent situations like this season where we didnt have a midfielder to sub in sometimes, we would definitely need to sign someone in the summer. depending on who will leave and who arrive in other positions, maybe we would even need to sign 2 midfielders.

should have said "Allan would be great. Much better and cheaper than witsel."

Actually I'd rather keep Padoin, we don't have to spend anything (other than extending his contract) to keep him, he can play CM, LB and RB, while Romulo can't play as a LB, and what's more, we can relay on Padoin, he's always there for us, and doesn't makes any trouble.

Looks like Pirlo will be leaving anyway, so well have an extra spot for some midfielder, the characteristic of the midfielder we'll get should vary depending on whether we get an AM or not, if we do then a DM like Allan or Khedira would do us well, if we don't get an AM then someone who adds creativity should be our priority, some Kovacic-like player.

Padoin is one of those players, I see no upside in selling him. And he's a perfect squad player. He's useful, versatile, knows his own limits, he's experienced and he is on a low wage.

I don't see why we'd need to get rid of him, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Allan from the little i saw him has that destroying attacks and can pass the ball and run with it,perfect to partner Pogba,Marchi and Vidal.. i do see him as a good loan option purchase for us if its cheap, probably around same price as Pereyra.. we do still need to get rid some players though,Marronne, ogbonna,Romulo,Isla,PDC

:agree: He'll play here as long as he can, leave towards the end of his career and then come back as a part of the coaching staff. As far as I'm concerned, he's Juve for life.
