So.....DPs 290+ goals are irrelevant because it isn't baseball?

I don't know about nothing, but you certainly wouldn't get more than a vague idea of how good he was if you were only going by stats.

I'd also sign Jovetic ahead of Sanchez, but I doubt Juve can get him either.

Sanchez's total for the last two seasons is 20 goals and 15 assists in 70 appearances.

The key thing that Sanchez would bring that Juve don't have just now is the ability to beat a man one-on-one on a regular basis.

If you combine that with the presence Llorente adds to Juve's attack, it'd give opposing teams quite a bit more to contend with.
That's actually quite decent. Better than I would've thought.

"Sometimes I'd like to stay at Barcelona"

"we just started this stage, and it's just beginning" "dissatisfied by the expulsion, but by the expulsion but by the yellow card" "I wanted to play on Tuesday against Uruguay and I'm sad by that" "they are mad and sad but I wish them (NT teammates) the best of the luck on this tuesday" "I'd like to be with them, feel what they feel, and being well physically by my part and arrive well in Barcelona" "I don't know if it's life or death, it's an important match as Peru's there's some matches still and we got a chance still" "I'm pretty well on Barcelona, happy, I know the player that I am and I've always been a great player I know that I can win matches and I'm still one even if I don't score or don't do anything, for me I'll always be one of the best of the world" "I'm not a player that scores 3 or 5 goals in a game, I'm a player that can assist that can make a pass and also can score but I'm not a player of area or a 9" "I like criticism, and they just base on the goals, but for me this isn't going to change, I'm a great player and I can win matches (then talks about 'Chupete' Suazo') sometimes I don't want to come and I rather to stay at Barcelona in my house, with my teammates but I'm Chilean, I sweat this shirt and I sacrifice for Chile" ....

Chileans speak such an awful spanish, I'm sorry about the poor translation.

I think when it comes to the renovation we are aiming at for our forward line, the statistics are of more than a pssing interest. Considering we have lacked a prolific prima punta since the departure of Trezeguet, we need a player who above all else, puts the ball in the net consistently. Llorente can certainly fill some of that role, if not all. We don't need any more forwards who contribute so much to the team, but have a more often than not wretched end product, like Vucinic.

290 goals in 700 games as a second striker playing for Juventus suggests a very special player. Even solely based on the stats.

Sanchez will be eyed as a replacement for the second striker Vucinic/Giovinco role in our 3-5-2, I assume. Haven't seen enough of him to suggest how well he could do alongside the spanish lion. But on his Udinese form, hard working, good acceleration, tricky on the ball, gritty, ultra determined, clever passing...and direct...he would be a great upgrade to Gio/Vuc.
