please, not this kind of bull$#@!, quote the entire phrase or dont quote at all.

it was

"Against a team that knows how to defend deep, compact, as a team and unit, and can mark and double mark efficiently ....

... messi is not even in top10 of ideal central forwards to field."

thanks.
My apologies if the above is meant as some kind of joke...but if not...its ridiculous. Messi is the most talented forward player on the planet. That poncy twat ronaldo is close to him, but let down by his face and general ponciness, and then there is Rooney. I think any team playing against Rooney, Ronaldo, or Messi, has to be incredibly focused on their marking. As for any team double marking efficiently, they only have a chance of scoring goals if the rest of the team is flimsy and can be cut through like butter on a swift counter attack. Not even in the top ten???? Have you seen little lionel in action??? the guy is a fucking genius, one of those footballers who comes along once in a generation. Perhaps the best purely offensive player in the final third we have seen since Maradona. Zidane had god given talent, huge amounts...as did Ronaldo, I mean the proper Ronaldo, not poncy pug faced one of Real Madrid which the cool kids call cr7. not even in the top 10!!!! lunacy...he would be in ANY top ten forwards to play against ANY type of defence, for he is that special. Its like a christian saying I wouldn't put Jesus in the top ten, or a muslim saying he wouldn;t put mohammed in the top ten prophets...some creatures are simply always in the top then of their area of expertise.

Too much water under the bridge from the time that we wanted him from Udinese, and his massive dip of form at Barfa. That said, I still think he is better suited to Conte's style of play than JoJo, and Suarez is who I would pick over all else, including Cavani.

Reports in both Spain and Italy believe that the Turin based side sent representatives to Milan where Barcelona were playing their Champions League last-16 first leg to discuss a potential summer move for the Chile winger.

Antonio Conte’s side did make a move for Sanchez before he joined Barcelona but were put off by Udinese’s asking price of €35 million, which the Camp Nou outfit paid in 2011.

However, he has failed to live up to expectations in Barcelona, having scored just one league goal this season and the Catalan club are believed to be open to a summer exit.

Juventus are reportedly ready to offer £5m for a season long loan, before making a permanent move in 2014.

Barzagli was a similar situation, no?

Besides, it's all about how Conte would intend to use I'm anyways.

Jojo is virtually molded for the position we're looking to fill up. Hard working, creative, good at receiving the ball with his back to the goal, knows the language and league and good at finishing.

@Hustini: Similar situations, but different level of opportunities. Barzagli was not being considered as a starter at the time we were purchasing him, but a replacement for the outgoing Legrotagglie. It's another matter that he turned out to be the player he is right now.

Sanchez is being considered as the mercato prime signing, so there are a few more considerations that must be made at this time, especially since a large part of this/next season's budget will be put toward his purchase. Not against this signing at all, but if we have 30m to spend, then I think we should push the envelope and go for Suarez who will simply take us to a level we have not seen at Juventus since Del Piero's prime.

I don't think he would cost 30m. But if we bring him as the SS and NOT a winger than we will see a big difference than what we see from him at Barca.

I don't get the JoJo hype in all honesty. Good player, got skill, but nowhere near what he's made out to be. At least hasn't proven it yet, either due to injury or form. I think Sanchez would do just as well, considering he'd cost about 10m less and is about a couple of years older but that could be co sidered negligible coz he too is still under 25-26 years of age.

Especially since Conte seems to consider the 352 his main formation now.
