- Chelsea with Matic last year
- PSG with Verratti
- PSG with Cavani
- Barcelona with Mascherano

Ultimately, we dealt with Lichtsteiner properly, and what happened. He actually resigned.

You got to be prudent too. If a guy will leave for free in a year, reconsider, but if they're signed for 3 more years, tell them to shove it. By capitulating to players demands, you empower agents, and legitimize their BS.
Somebody needs to explain that to our management,or maybe they're just lying about the reasons why they sell our best players.

IF we let him leave we are the new Arsenal. We must send a clear message. Selling the best LB in the world, Selling the best CM, the best young CM year in and out aint a good image for the club.

If we sell any more top players it's obvious, even to those in denial, that we're a top feeder club. But a feeder club nonetheless. Which is why I do not get attached to our players any more. Only the results.

according to Nerozzi - Juve refused the latest offer from Chelsea, they are relying on Sandro to ask for a transfer now. Tbh I think this is all rumors for a new contract.

According to @romeoagresti Juventus are going to renew Sandro's contract and the deal for Douglas Costa is close to completion.

Who have we really sold? Pogba was most likely a deal we had with Raiola to bring him for free with the understanding he would move on later. That was good business and we are one of the few clubs that would work with him on domething like that.
Vidal was a drunk and honestly it hurt to lose him but these two dont make us a selling club.
Tevez and Marota were not really good examples. We were brought out of the ashes in a very short time and deals like this needed to be made to get us there. Like it or not Pogba deal sealed us this last CL final and will seal us financial security for a while.

We sold them nonetheless, regardless of what you think or your justification for their sales. This Zach like defense mechanism to cope with sales is annoying and delusional. Morata we had no say in the matter, and Pirlo wanted a new challenge and was becoming a burden in that final season tbh. Tevez should've probably honored his contract, but we got some options on young Argie players.

Vidal and Pogba were definitely sold. Two summers in a row we sell a top CM. Those are facts!

Obviously they are facts. They left Juventus and joined another team. Doesn't mean there aren't all sorts of differing reasons why players are sold. These are humans with different emotions, flaws, career paths. A number of them are considerably uneducated. They aren't stock or robots that are just moved around when you please.

Morata - either had the clause or he stayed there or went elsewhere for more money.
Pogba - moneydab wanted to go back to Manchester, world record fee. Better than flat out refuse him and Raiola and watch the fee go down until United have us bent over a table, with unknown consequences on the field.
Vidal - take your pick of the reasons. It certainly wasn't a technical choice because he was class. For me the off-field shit mixed with mutual interest between Bayern and Vidal was the reason for the swiftness and lower fee. That is how Juve have dealt with players in this situation before.
Tevez - family, same reason he went to China.
Pirlo - the guy was semi-retired, it's a joke he is even mentioned as a filler in these lists. Who next, Evra?

Too many of us grew up watching a time when players stay for years. They don't now, and it's getting worse all the time. We treat players with professionalism and respect and expect it back. Foreign investment, foreign players, they don't care about staying here for 10 years or until retirement.

Until we become the #1 or maybe #2 desirable club then there will always be the idea that the grass is greener. Even if you are #1 in that list there is still the possibility of wanting to move and various reasons for that. And maybe this is a reality check but Juventus is never going to be in that position.

basically this. and it always make me sad. it's all about the money: pre-calciopoli, juve was a top 3 club regarding revenues, and we could attract and hold on to the players we wanted.

about foreign players: that's why it's particularly painful to watch players like verratti, conti or gagliardini signing for an other club. in italy, juve remains the top club, and in most cases, we are able to hold on to our italian players. (bonucci might leave us for epl this summer, though.) and that continuity wins us the scudetti, not star players that come and go every 2-3 years. just check bayern and real, probably the best managed clubs: they keep the core of their team for as long as possible.

cardiff might have caused big scars, though. i can see us losing some ground for next season. i wouldn't be surprised if some of our players lose their motivation completely.

Its also dillusional to put us in the same category as those like Roma and the likes. We have sold a few players but we arent a selling club. We have to sell to stay at the top and compete financially in our current econoic climate but hopefully that wont last forever.
Also you cant have your cake and eat it too. You loved having Tevez come cheap and Pogs for free as well as Dani coming in free but you think that it doesnt come with any consequence. IMO we got Pogs with the understanding he could leave. Same as tevez. If you dont want to be that type of club thats fine but we would have brought in Matri type player and forced him yo stay.
