    If one gets work-permit, does it mean he gets a passport as well? Because that's why Alex was sent to PSV, work-permit.

    I rather doubt that. A work permit is temporary, tied to a particular employment agreement. A passport means you never have to apply for that again.

    A work permit is a work permit, nothing more. People without citizenship must normally apply for work permits in order to work in the country in question. It's difficult to give a general answer, as each country has it's own rules. But having had work permits in Holland and England doesn't mean that he's not a non-EU-player.

    I'm hopeful. On the very same day that Marotta publicly announced that there will be "at least" 2 more signings, Alex informs the media of his desire to join Juventus and sign a 4 year contract.
