I dont think there is much point to be honest in getting both. Lugano for me would be the best option for the fact as someone stated before his leadership qualities. Chiellini may be a leader to be but hes still on the younger side to start commanding the defence. He hasnt even played many major club games yet (which is not his fault) So if Lugano came instead of alex i think our D would be more stable and composed and Chiellini and more so Bonucci will benefit from him being there. Alex its a brute and will dominate physically but as for tactical positioning and calming the D down we might aswell stay with Bonucci.

Why not? It's not like Chiellini wouldn't run out of steam at some point in the season, injuries will happen & it would be great to have at least three CB's that you can really count on.
