to be honest alex is not as bad as some people make him to be, sure in a perfect world where juve has the luxury of an un-limited transfer budget, and cl on top we would be gunning for vidic, ivanovic, etc but as things stand now alex is not a step back to what we have already. lugano is a good option too but either of them will do well for us.

Good post as always, Biscomisr :tup:

Alex will be way way way better than Bonucci and he's not in any way inferior to Lugano. Considering we need to buy a winger, we can't target strong young prospects like Subotic and Hummels. So, Alex-Chiellini will form a great partnership, till that Bonucci learn the basics of defence. If Bonucci doesn't improve, sell him and get a better young one.

Can't believe I'm defending Alex. Few hours ago all was fapping and dreaming.

In the games he played last season for Chelsea, he was a BEAST

Is it a stretch to get both Alex and Lugano :p ? It's impossible I know but imagine us going with this backline

C'mon, everyone makes mistakes. He's a great player, and will do well alongside Chiellini.
