Common sense tends to go a long way.

It's not really difficult to split up our team in 2 groups: players that are not for sale (unless an insane offer arrives) & players that are, essentially, free to leave if they want to.
Didin't Marotta say now that Matri is sold, Quag was definitely staying? Look how that worked out.

Sorry, I should clarify:

Marotta said Quagliarella was likely to stay a few days ago.

He didn't just say it just now.

Need to read it in the context of me replying to ALC.

Se parte Matri, Quagliarella rimane. Meaning if Matri leaves, Quag remains. I don't see where you got likely from that. Or was it "common sense" as Buck Fuddy would say?

The headline is simplifying it.

Marotta said: "Quagliarella dovrebbe restare in bianconero"

I believe that is some way short of saying "Quagliarella will stay".

You tell me.

I'm saying that I use common sense to form my opinion on these matters, you're going by meaningless quotes in the media.

And here are 2 posts I made back in April 9th:

That's where you're wrong. Vucinic & Giovinco won't be going anywhere. That much should be clear for everyone who follows the team.
I'm personally pretty certain that both Gio & Vuc will be Juve players on September 1st & you can quote me on that when the date arrives.
See, common sense works from time to time. You should try it.

I agree. Marotta quotes are meaningless, because you can never trust what he says. You're lucky you share the same train of thought as he does.

Not always meaningless, but context & time/date play a big part.

It's usually not too hard to deduct how we're going to operate, etc. Well, not according to me at least.

:rabbit:

With Marotta 'dovrebbe' is a very important word here :D
I wonder if he showed his trademark smile while saying the the word dovrebbe. :D

Who knows.....Marotta being Marotta he might have become bored of having Matri on a normal contract here so he sold him to Milan and now Matri might just end up here co-owned with an option to buy! There are still 2:30 hours left till the end of the mercato. Beppe can pull it of.
