I admire how he has terrific movement, and gets into alot of good chances. Seems to have a good understanding with the entire team when it comes down to where he wants the ball, or where it will end up.

Thing is, he creates 2 open chances like that today and misses both. Its such frustration

Few strikers, less then 3 in serie a imo, have such intelligent movement. But most would finish it off.


I think when you see matri play like today, it clearly shows what impact a simular striker with lethal finishing would have had on this game.

we would have played extremely bad and underwent visitor shaktars game, yet end up winning 2-1 cause we finished our chances

Ill just say that looking at van persie's goals today, made me die inside a little.

The first was kinda lucky, but the second was pure striker instinct and technique.

Hmm. It's true Matri has a good understanding and movement, but in the end he is wasting too many chances. Quagliarella has been weak yesterday, but after scoring 4 goals in 2 games I would prefer him over Matri any time right now.
