yup, im pretty sure that if matri regai his form and maintains it.... Marotta and conte will not waste millions in any top striker...and will try to use those 2 as the spearheads of our attack from next season.

Anelka and bender are goners by the end of teh season....
And maybe the ones who will be analyzed will be giovinco or vucinic.

I predict this striker force for next season: Loorente, Matri, vuci, giovinco...and any young player or rejected we can use as a 5th striker.

If Matri keeps it up, i just dont see Juventus breaking the bank for a top tier striker.

He is an average player with occasional good games. His best 5 game run so far is what should be expected of a half decent juventus striker. We are praising him for not being bloody awful like we are used to from him rather than for putting in world class performances. It seems that lots of people here forgot how real quality strikers perform week in week out let alone on their best 5 game streak of their careers.
I hope he maintains that level for a few more weeks but we should never consider him as a reliable first team player. Sell or Sub.

Just too much selective memory on this forum. And yes, people have forgotten what consistent performers look like because the last ones were Del Piero and Trezeguet. Many brain cells have been lost watching this team over the years.

Matri has done well after his striker comments, but just like after his first few months here, he will revert back to the mean. Llorente better be prepared.

True that. The black panther aka spanish giant killer shits on Matri and we would complain he wasn't up to par back then. Hopefully we get a JoJo esque player to pair Llorrente and matri moves into a "super" sub role.

Meant as a reply to Bjerknes , too lazy to tpe it back out on this tablet.

Pretty much this. But hey, let's hope he can keep it up at least for a little longer.
