in regards to the "sympathize with Gaza" gesture. while it is a nice showing of support, I thought these kinds of gestures were banned by FIFA? Not because it's a bad but because FIFA doesn't want political issues, religion and ethnicities to be interfere with football.

Group matches or the knockout phase?Sorry for being so thick, but i havent followed the ACN at ALL.

And if they're group matches, are there any interesting scenarios?
very interesting ok:

tonights games are group stages.

ivory coast have 6 points with out putting tonights 3 oints ok. and theyr top of the group.

mali on the other hand need just one point to qualify to the next stage.

nigeria needs to win to qualify.

benin is hopeless.

now if nigheria beat benin with a good score and mali lost its ivory coast and nigeria who qualify (please salvatore correc tme if i am wrong)

should mali draw tonight they qualify.

its is important though that ivory coast win the 1st of there froup and by this they avoid facing ghana and instead face pooooooor guenia. and the 2nd whether its mali or nigeria face mighty ghana ( so sissoko could be back quite soon?)

Mali is out. They only needed one goal to go trough on goal differential but Nigeria scored again so now they're out. I wonder now if Sissoko will be available for tomorrow.

The private jet might still be in a Ghanian hangar :D

    Perfectly true, man. ;)

Sissoko replaced Kanoute for Mali at half time. I don't know how he did as I did not see the game. :frown: Bring him to Turin.

    thanks salvatore. :pint:

i am not surprised to be honest with the scores in any of tonights games. nigeria history wise deserves to carry on to the next stage, while preformance wise they deserve to pack there bags and go back home bec this team is by noooooooo means the nigeria we all know about. i do agree with bozi there manager is pish and plays a major role in there failure. as for there game on sunday well i see it going ghana's way specially after there preformance against morocco which was a message to all the big teams in the tournment.

as for tomorrow's program its includes the following:

    eygpt vs zambia
    cameroon vs sudan.

eygpt goes to tomorrows game with 6 points and have one foot in the next stage, cameroon go in with 3 points along with zambia who also has 3 points so this is going to be a fight for survival.

egypt needs a draw at least to progress in as top of the group ( hence meeting up with the second from group D most probably tunisia or south africa) cameroon needs to win tomorrow and should be able to do so with complete ease.

Kanoute will be also good if we get him. This makes Sissoko ready against Inter, but that's a huge risk if he plays.

too soon to play him in such an important game, even if we are winning it is too big a risk, if he gets anywhere near the pitch then ranieri is the biggest assclown in the world

well, behind raijkaard of course but you get what i mean
