Egypt draw 1-1 with Zambia. :moan: lost that bet, Bisco is telepathic.
did'nt i tell u bro. i dont deserve to be pissed or anything but iam not impressed with todays game what soo ever. this zambia side could have been owned and i mean it when i say this zambia side got have had 4 goals easily if egypts players concentrated. it seems egypt plays much better when they r pressured ( jus tlike every bloody thing over here). hopefully come next stage they will be back to the same style they used against cameroon.

i dont know if u guys heard about this but it sees the middle east or at least egypt in particular will be having trouble with internet connections bec the cable found in the meditrnean sea has been cut for some reason and it shoudl take a week to get it sorted. i think its amiraclei am able to post now but iam sure tomorrow it will be difficult so i will fastward and try to shed light on a few things just for u guys to be in the picture of this tournment.

this is my personal point of view putting into mind i ve watched all three games for egypt and i have seen tunisia play too.

1- if i had the choice i would love it if egypt plays angola int he second stage, wont be a walk in the park but chances are egypt would win this one for several reasons considering that there key player is very familiar and is a player in the egyptain top flight league.

2- should egypt face tunisia int he second round i must say iam not worried or frightened not one bit but i must say it will be the strongest game yet in this tournment specially with the very very very heated up rivilary between the two nations. its not war but its pure passion and both teams have history and amazing squads.

i can guarntee it that in this game egypt will play with both abu terka and zidan from the begining its very obvious bec if u guys watched todays game thats exactly what they did. they expermented it and it worked and so i guarntee it 80% thats the midfeild pair to be playing and it will be the best. these two are creative and they r waaaaaaaay to dangerous. i fear dos santos from tunisia he is a very good player and a very lethal finisher. i will leave the score for now and hope for the best bec the winner goes up and plays against ivory coast :pumpkin:

any way hard luck salvatore i apologize for this, but this is very familiar cos in 2006 thats how we things shaped up so i have faith history might repeat its self.

Wow that's crazy. I read that the failure was from Egypt all the way to India.

You're right, you're lucky you didn't watch the game. Hope you get well bro ;)

u know whats the ironic thing bro? there r two cables that feed egypt and the middle east ok. both cables were cut and require repairing. so now there is a boat that is speciallized in fixing under water cables on its way to fix this. i heard its 10 km away from alex in the sea.

    Cameroon: Eto'o the Great

CAMEROON striker Samuel Eto'o may not be at his best currently, but he woke up on Thursday as a proud record holder of the highest number of goals scored in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations.

His double against Sudan in a Group C clash in Tamale took him to 16, two better than Cote d' Ivoire's Laurent Pokou's 14 goals.

Last Saturday Eto'o equaled Pokou's achievement when he scored a goal in his side's 5-1 rout of Zambia.

The Ivorian scored goals in two editions 1968 (six goals) and 1970 (eight goals) but the 27-year-old Eto'o feat of 16 goals in this modern era where footballers play a lot of games, deserves as much credit.

However, DR Congo striker Mulamba 'Mutumbula' Ndaye holds the record of the highest goals in a single tournament. He scored nine in the 1974 edition as the then Zaire beat Zambia 2-0 in a replay after the first match had ended 2-2.

Eto'o made his Nations Cup debut at 19, in the 2000 jointly hosted by Ghana and Nigeria, scoring four goals. His strikes helped the Indomitable Lions to win the cup. Two years later, despite his one goal in the tournament, the Lions retained the cup, beating Senegal 3-2 on penalties after a stalemate.

In 2004, Eto'o was overshadowed by Patrick Mboma's four goals, netting only one in the quarter finals against Nigeria which the Lions lost 2-1. He bounced back in the 2006 edition in Egypt scoring five times in the group stages including a hat trick against Angola. His five goals made him the top scorer.

In the modern era, Egypt's Hossam Hassan and South African Benadict McCarthy hold the record of most goals in a single tournament. They both scored seven goals in Burkina Faso. This year, Eto'o's 5 goals make him top scorer, two ahead of Soufiane Alloudi (Morocco), Hosni Rabou (Egypt) and Manucho of Angola.

the ivory coast game is def the easiest as for ghana v nigeria i have a tiny feeling that nigeria might upset ghana. not 100% sure but i have this feeling they can knock out ghana should they play with heart unlike the first two group games they had where they were completely lost.

ghana team is stronger than nigeria and with the support of the fans i think they can win easily unless a surprise happen

Nigeria are likely to pull through now. Ghana got a man sent off in the 60:th minute. Score is 1-1 and Nigeria are looking the more dangerous side.
