Rabiot is an on and off player - Good enough for this Juve but Im not sure he would get a sub role at the Juve of Conte.

What is special about Rabiot is that he is a bit of everything - I cant really say what is his really strong attributes as I see him as a well rounded player who is good but not excellent at mostly everything.
So for now he is good but should we get the midfield we need I wouldnt have a problem seeing him leaving.

As for now - Play Rabiot and also play Locatelli who IMO is very underrated.
As for the future - Despite Rabiot currently a better player than Locatelli - I`d happily sell him and clear his wages while I`d like us to keep Locatelli who defends well runs a lot and have a nice vision for his role. (all that for summer mercatos - selling like that on winter mercato is suicide)

... I agree though, his size is how he utilizes his averageness. If he was smaller he would be destined for Empoli. Now he is a Sevilla-player. Mute argument though or pointless at least. but in my case i have a point. chiesa has not shown any potential of being a difference maker for juve and it's now his 4th season here without being a difference maker

compare his impact in matches for example to actual difference makers for juve in the past 10 years: vidal, pogba, ronaldo, dybala. all those are players that left marks on the club by their 4th/3rd season. what has chiesa done? scored once vs milan 4seasons ago hehe

rabiot is also in that boat in that aside from one really good season, he isn't showing he is main man potential

He's the best midfielder on the team, but perspective is important. His competition is Tex Mex, Suckatelli, and Miretti. The other two mids who could potentially be better than him are both banned, one possibly for life.
