First goal is on Langlet, Pavard and Kante but mainly Langlet. I can't find any replay for the full duration so I don't know what happened before and what led to that situation. PK is on Pavard. Ok soo... Pogba was the issue. Not that everyone else that choked. Pogba was the only one creating something. Not his fault the rest forgot how to kick the ball. France has relied on a strong defense and individual quality creating something out of nothing. So when the organization is not there, quality upfront is not there, no wonder nothing works. That's also the reason why I would prefer not having Deschamps here. He is a great coach, no doubt, but have no organized way to dismantle an opponent except for press high and shove deep to pacey striker or high for a towering striker. In a NT the lack of time kind of forces simple football, simple tactics, etcetera. But he has been there for a long time. If he truly knew how to do it, he would be able to communicate it. Even Mancini managed to implement his ideology and in much less time.
Rabiot was ok. He is always OK or underwhelming or just abysmal. He never reaches above those levels.
