What old Adriano? When did this old Adriano perform because I think I missed it? People talk of him as he was once the best player in the world. He had one good season for Parma and now he's been shite for over 3 years. He's always been inconsistent and a regular pain in the ass. We can do better.

Adriano had the potential to be a really great player, but he ruined his chance to be great, by thinking that he can live the "high-life" by partying all the time & having a lackadaisical attitude to training & still become a great player: - you can't.

Adriano needs to go to Fiorentina to work together with Prandelli. I feel only Prandelli can get the maximum out of him like he does with Mutu. Prandelli is a wonderful coach.

Maybe we should get Prandelli then. For Strikers, I would still prefer Huntelaar or Bianchi or even Pizarro, if noone else is available.
Prandelli is a great coach :agree:
By the way, Alltagsheld: do you know if there any TV channel in Germany will show Italy's game tomorrow?!

Inter striker Adriano is not leaving the San Siro next year, declared his agent Gilmar Rinaldi after speculation over his future.
The Brazilian was recently linked with a move to Fiorentina in a possible swap deal with Luca Toni, but a number of Spanish sides were also allegedly monitoring his situation closely, with Barcelona and Real Madrid in pole position.
“It is impossible that Adriano will join Fiorentina,” said Rinaldi to Mediaset. “He is an Inter player, 100 per cent.
“I was in Milan two weeks ago and I spoke to the Nerazzurri management. They count on Adriano for the next season and have no intention of selling him or sending him out on loan,” explained the Emperor’s representative.
“In Italy people talk too much, that is the problem. The future of a champion like Adriano cannot depend on a night in a disco,” concluded Rinaldi.
Inter seemed ready to discuss the player’s sale after he reportedly clashed with an American basketball player in Milan’s trendy Club Hollywood nightspot after the Week 29 win over Ascoli. Both men have since denied there was a physical altercation.
Adriano is not new to this kind of controversy, as he was also temporarily stripped of his first team place after partying too hard before a game to celebrate his birthday.

Duo Downplay Adriano Talk

AC Milan and Juventus have brushed aside rumours of a possible swoop for Internazionale striker Adriano.

The Brazilian has been out of favour at Inter in the past two campaigns, leading to speculation of a possible move away from the San Siro during the winter transfer window.

However, when Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli was asked if his club would make a move for Adriano, he said: "No."

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi also stressed his club would not move for Adriano.

He said: "When I said any club would be interested in a champion like Adriano, it was meant as a compliment and not to create a controversy."

Inter coach Roberto Mancini did not include Adriano for the club's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow this week.

"Adriano's problems will end when he starts to live a normal life," said Mancini, referring to the player's love of the nightlife. "I know he says the contrary, but he is not in the right condition to play."
