I have never before seen a team which has so much obstacles thrown in front of them than Juve weather it be Calciopoli, banning Conte and now this fiasco.

Hopefully this is dealt with quickly and is not dragged out.

Once a gypsy, always a gypsy. How dare his agent blame it on Juventus!

Zamparini Quote from 2007 - "Mutu, like a good gypsy, has tried to be slick. Then again, all Romanians are slick, they have it on their DNA."

There is no way we will pay for this. Doesn't even make sense.

I don't see how mutu himself is escaping any compensation fee, he was the one who was 'in breach' of his contract not Juve, if Juve and Livorno are held liable then so should all his clubs since such as fiorentina etc...

Ok let's recap on this saga from years ago. Chelsea sacks Mutu leaving him free/without a club. No one mentions compensation when interest from us came along. We use Livorno as a loophole to Serie A, then joins us. That's all I've ever known. I did hear of chelsea filling for compensation a year after he joined but nothing til now has ever surfaced. If it were such an important issue then whys it taken so long??

surely it would require some sort of international clearance before the transfer went through, how is it lawyers didn't pick up on any potential liability? i highly doubt Juve would have made this move without being made aware of any potential legal case
