What if your adopted?
Well then we can have a discussion about morality.

But first, you watch too much porn :D

You say it's wrong because it's against human instinct. We're hardwired to be disgusted with it because for thousands of years sex usually led to pregnancy.
So the only problem in all of this is that it might cause pregnancy?

Meaning, you wouldn't have a problem with it if pregnancy were guaranteed not to happen?

Nope, it is completely disrespectful to an institution that is probably the most valuable and critical institution in our society. That institution is called the family.

it's called the offseason
Indeed

Okay so instead we should just take your word for it that it's wrong?

The very fact that you would criticize moral discussion is pretty hair raising to me.
I find it troubling that you would have to take my word to know that incest is wrong.

If being mentally slow is a way to determine someone was the result of incest then incest must be a lot more common than we like to think.
Well certain groups that have arranged marriages tend to "keep it in the family" either marrying cousins or siblings & this does occur.

But i do get what your saying,we do have a few members that are mentally slow though.:D

From a moral perspective, no (unless it would cause any other harm besides pregnancy). I think you have a hard time understanding this because you can't separate moral judgement from emotions.

Yup. Cannot believe these people sometimes. They have no problem with someone fucking his sister/mother, but a woman wearing a piece of cloth on her head, that's just unacceptable
Of course we all find it disgusting FFS.

From a moral perspective? Your making it sound like there is only one moral perspective, i thought you didn't believe in an objective moral standard

If you believe in moral relativism, then you wouldn't say that.

But on the basis of disgust alone, I think gay sex is pretty disgusting too. So therefore it's immoral right? Why don't we make up laws based on what I'm personally comfortable with.

I believe moral judgement is deduced from the current status of the outside world, not induced from some divine source.

Before there were any methods of birth control, incest was definitely immoral.

Now that you mention it, what's more worrying: people analyzing everything purely rationally, or people unable to rationalize certain topics because they can't isolate their emotional bias?

Well ya. But thats another story for another day. :p

You just said it, you believe that "moral judgement is deduced from the current status of the outside world". I don't.

In a moral discussion where you believe in moral relativism. You cannot establish that i'm wrong.

Before there were any methods of birth control, incest was definitely immoral.
I feel very uncomfortable with this statement :p
