That's lame. I'm not so sure I like the changes they're making.

Now how is Gendry supposed to save Breanne and Pod from the bandits?

Me neither, they really ruined one of Sansa's key moments in that last episode as well. But I suppose they can't show her boobs on television, so she's not as important.

I don't know what's going to happen with Gendry.

Plus, I'm not sure the actress is old enough to show boobs on tv.

I didn't care for Daario at all in the books, I really like what they did with him.

I guess it depends on how much they put into the final two episodes...

Spoilers coming, if you haven't read the book, don't read:

I assume the Red Wedding and murder of Robb Stark will be in there. I was thinking the death of Joffery would be in there as well. After that they have Mance's assault on the wall, Tyrion and Sansa's escape from King's Landing, Tywin's murder, the duel between the Red Viper and The Mountain, Littlefinger's marriage and the murder of Lysa. Am I missing any big events from "Storm?" That doesn't seem like enough for 12 hours of show. I was thinking half of season 4 would be wrapping up "Storm" and the second half of it would be the begining of "Feast"

Book related spoiler.

They might fit in some extra stuff about the Iron Islands and Dorne next season actually, to start introducing some more characters. I was imagining this episode coming to be the Red Wedding, next episode being Dany taking Yunkai and giving a direction to a few other stories. I took a look recently and forgot how much actually happens shortly after the Red Wedding though, events I can think of next year would be...

Joffrey's wedding plus a bit of intro on Tommen??
Tyrion's trial and introduction to Prince Oberyn, plus his escape
Sansa and Littlefinger with Lysa Arryn
Arya, The Hound and Needle on their adventure
Theon transforming into Reek?
Mance, Stannis and Melisandre at the wall. Davos receiving his new job?
Bran heading north beyond the wall and passing Sam
Jaime returning and sorting himself out in the capital, learning about Cersei
Dany taking Meereen and her struggles there

I think they might push in some of Feast as well yeah, as the next two books are going to be difficult to manage with all that content.

I wonder why they wasted so much time on Theon's torture. IIRC they don't go into detail about that in the book, yet they wasted so mch time on it during a few episodes this season. All I remember from the book was them bringing a piece of skin off of theons finger to catlyn and robb.

We can discuss the show in here, but not the book in the show thread. At least until the season is over. Don't want people reading about the two biggest moments of the season prematurely and then crying because they ignored the spoiler. :D

Anywho, I think Dorne and the Iron Islands will feature more once the Starks are dealt with and Stannis moves to the Wall. Though we may not get all the Iron brothers.

Two episodes left so. This one will likely be all about the Wall and Branns journey. Maybe the return of Benjen Stark. Then the finale will be the simultaneous weddings and tragedies. Through in a scene or two for Arya and Dany. Plus maybe an intro at the end for either the Dornish coming to King's Landing or the Iron sons returning home after their father slips and that will be that.

The rest as you said will be next season. And they will combine the stuff that fits.

Difficult to explain Theon's journey without showing the torture (even though they gave it a lot of screen time) I suppose.

Would be disappointed if they drop a Greyjoy, they're all fun.

I think they dropped the annoying Sea Priest one. Otherwise he would have been in the show a season ago.

Man, I knew it was coming but it was still so hard to watch.

King in the North lives on in our hearts.

Pretty harsh how they just went to credits. No music. No nothing.

As Sal said above, you need to establish where he's gone, I think. Then, when he shows up two seasons later with white hair and no fingers, you know why.

I think they dropped the annoying Sea Priest one. Otherwise he would have been in the show a season ago.

Was Aeron not in the first season? But he has the interesting incest plotline with his brother!

And they should have at least played The Rains of Castamere...

Oh yeah, that's what I meant.
It's entirely possible he's just dropping overly obvious hints and double bluffing us, but that's what I think. There's the whole problem with Aegon sitting around (or Pseudo Aegon) and whether or not HE'S the third head to the dragon, but I think he's an impostor.
