You have no idea :)

This is real!!!

And I'm not talking about 500B.C. ... I'm talking about more recent (and thus more accurate) historical moments...

There is a book about parrallels between 300 Spartans and 300 Aragvelians.

You guys just have no Idea about the country Georgia... and its History :) We had Renaissance (12th Century) long before you guys had in EUROPE (14th Century). ... well I don't wanna get into this.

P.S. for example There is a saying that "Russians were climbing on trees, when Georgian were translating the Gospel"

listen please

NOBODY ... GIVES ... A ... SHIT

Is it only me but I am absolutely not interested in watching this movie.
judging by the films you say are good, i would presume you wouldn't like this film jack, me personally i think this film is very over rated, i enjoyed it, it was fun, but for people to say things like its one of the greatest films ever made...............:faq1:

they just stole stuff from 300 spartans, trying to dramatize it too much, crap film in my eyes
Dude, it's the same damn story - of course they share stuff. Many of the best lines are historical, not the work of some screenwriter.

I enjoyed it, with my usual reservations about Miller's sick love of gore and porn.

Historocally it's a lot of nonsense. THe description of the parties invlolved is ridiculous and the lines are cheesy. It's shallow and not very deep.

Having said that it's certainly entertaining. It's no Gladiator though, that movie was actually quite good with developed characters and a great story. 300 it's a great popcorn flick with some beautiful shots but it is precisely this that makes it quite artifical (it can sometimes look like a cartoon/anime).

I would still recommend for a night out (just don't watch it with your gf, all the steroid-pumped chests will most probably make her slightly horny. er..which I guess could be good too ;)
